Can you adjust the water temperature coming out of the dispenser? I have a Kitchenaid with the same controls. The water temp seems a little warm coming out of the dispenser.

Thanks for reviewing the Whirlpool settings. It was informative. Is there a sound setting for the open door notification? The open door notification beeps when the door is open for a prolonged duration of time. However the audio beep is kind of a low series of beeping. It would be nice to up the sound.

I read in the manual that if you lower the temperature in the freezer, it helps make the ice faster when it's during the summer weather. I'm going to try that because our ice production has slowed way down right when our temperatures are 100 degrees or higher outside, making it warmer in the house and we are using more ice.

We have a GI6SDRXXY05 and there is no manual lock for turning the ice maker off. I can see in the door panel that there is a "Ice Maker Off" light that is not lit of course. How do I run thru that menu to turn it off?

Remove the ice maker drawer (that holds the ice) there is a button switch inside the door once the ice tray is removed.
