Sir, I have no background in electrical. My FF220 Elite stopped working and the culprit is the electronic circuit. Tried hard for replacement but no luck. Technicians gave a solution that can bypass the electronic circuit and add manual controls. They said it will cost Rs 6000. I was hesitant because they did not give me confidence and guarantee. I decided to scrap the fridge and get new one. The solution they said lingered in my mind, i did a google search and ended up with your video. i would have watched your video more than 10 times to understand your instructions clearly. I ordered parts from Amazon and did what you said. The fridge is working fine (Chill & defrost cycle) now. The parts (timer and thermostat) costed me only around 900. Thank you so much.

Sir your video's are superb and informative but I have a small sugessation for perticular to this wiring video, it is better to use Wirlpool or BPL timer not LG timer, if you use LG timer than you have to change the wire near biometal. In this method defrost problem will be come.

after nearly 20 phone calls whirlpool engineers who visited said that PCB not available for FF400.contacted an independent engineer in Ahmedabad and stripped the fridge and removed PCB board and altered wiring to temp controlled and it works perfectly.It is always advisable to get 2nd opinion as whirlpool service was frustrating and not helpful

Hi sir i have a whirlpool 450ltr refrigerator it is not defrosting. every 7-10 days it starts to give problem like not making ice and not cooling the lower part water bottles are also not cold . I manually switch off my refrigerator so that coil gets rid of frost, it starts working again but sometimes i forget so plz help me out. Thanks in advance
