THIS is the BEST video on how to do this. Shows good pictures of each of the parts and how they are supposed to go together correctly. I was using other videos and having all sorts of issues. I used this one, and fixed it in a snap! WHEW! You saved me from additional stress!

I think this probably saved me a lot of money. Thanks for the help. Also my agitator would not separate for some reason until I pulled super hard on it. I was worried something might break when I did that. So in case anyone else had the problem, it still worked fine and I didn't break anything. Almost busted a blood vessel though. Haha

My washer did not have the yellow thing. It still seemed to work but it was hard to get the bolt started without a dog coming off. It took me three tries but I finally got it. Thanks for the videos. I live 50 miles from the nearest city. It isn't just a matter of what a repairman costs, they just won't come out here period.

I bought the whole kit and not just the dogs and this video helped me a lot in installing them. The only thing that I did differently is that rather then hold up on the agitator while tightening the bolt down I first left the bolt out and just used the socket to push down on the clothes mover and part with the dogs attached until they were seated snugly into place. Then I installed the bolt and tightened it. This was easier then trying to hold the whole thing together while you tighten the long bolt. (I tried to hold it all together with the bolt in place a couple of times and it kept falling to pieces on me.)

Removing the 7/16 bolt is so hard on my Amana washer. The washer is only five years old . The bolt is very tight and is very hard to remove. I used lube several times, but the bolt won't budge. How do I remove it ? Any advice? Thanks

Mine was tight coming off. I got impact wrench and took it off. Put grease on bolt threads when I installed it with ratchet. Went in easier than it came out.

What if your cam bearing slips right off everytime you turn it upside down? I'm having a hard time with this thing because everytime I turn it upside down that bearing falls off and I got dogs all over the floor.

My Amana washing machine Model #NAV6800AWW doesn’t seem to have dogs. I removed the fabric softener cap, the was no cap. I removed the 7/16 bolt and removed the clothes mover. There were no dogs or a plate to hold them. So what can I do now? Is there another video for this configuration? Thanks!
