Got myself a bottle of Slane yesterday, absolutely love it. Simple, smooth, and has that wicked traditional Irish butterscotch mixed with spice element that I love. Cheap and cheerful, great dram.

The demented look on Rex's face as he smells the Bunnahabhain 12 is priceless. Little did we know he was about to fit the whole bottle into a single glencairn, alas his eagle mooch powers are not yet strong enough to fight off hobbit bear sommooching. HR have been contacted and eagle talons sharpened.

I did a mild double take when I saw the title of this video. As of 12/8/18 I had never knew it existed, but I was at a whiskey tasting that was going on at the liquor store my brother works at. There were at least nine tables set up with a number of bottles of varying sorts (it was mainly a scotch tasting) but I did see an Irish, and as someone who has learned the GLORY that is Red Breast 12 (thanks to you two) I was curious to try an Irish I have never heard of. I definitely bought a bottle that day because I enjoyed it as another Irish to add to my ever growing collection and that will keep me cozy over the coming colder months. I didn't have the option to add water to the drink (if only for the smell) but I am looking forward to testing it out once I open the bottle. Very glad to see this coincidental video show up JUST after I got my hands on this. Sláinte

Discovered this whiskey a little over a year ago at one the "classy" bars I like. It's become my go to Irish and whiskey I poor when friends stop by as it's easy to drink and more complex then Jameson or Bushmills.

Glad u got to taste Slane IW. Slane castle is just 30min drive from my house and they are having open days over Christmas to come to the distillery and look around and taste the brand also buy a few bottles 😎 🥃 I’m new to whiskey or rather new to enjoying it properly. By the way I love Redbreast 12.

Damn, really at 7:28. It is 3-15-19. I went into a Spirits store here in Kansas. They were giving out free samples of this whiskey. Being Irish, certified by Ancestary.com, I have always wanted to try an Irish whiskey. I grew up on American whiskey. So I tried the sample. I was waiting for the backlash of fire, which thankfully never came. Instead, the taste got better as I walked around the store. I told the clerk that was good. I think I will buy a bottle for my husband later.

I'm in the same exact boat as Larry. My favorite is the classic laddie so much so that I picked up a bottle of the organic 09 last week. Bunnahabhain is also on my short list to be sure and I was excited when I heard about the unpeated caol lla runs.... until I saw the prices. With a flavor profile as niche as unpeated islay me and Larry need our own whisk(e)y list video made. Hint hint.

This is for Daniel. Maybe get a dozen or so "Perfect Dram 3.04 oz" whisky glasses from Urban Bar. I think they are around $3 each. Still the same shape as the Glencairn but 1/3 of the price. Mmmmm tried Slane about 2 months ago and was very impressed with it. Especially for $25. Also, it's kinda funny watching Daniel get upset about certain pours. With THAT much Whiskey in the background. I wonder how many of those bottles have gone flat? What was the time table that was given awhile back? About 18 months if stored perfectly? Just makes me chuckle, but does show the passion for Whiskey he has as well.
