Whisky Review #22: Aultmore 18 Year Scotch - 46% | An Unsuspected Banger of a Scotch

I continue a series of reviews centered around 18 year old Scotch whisky by looking at a bottle that I expected to be good, but I was not prepared for how much I like this bottle of Aultmore 18 Year Old.

Hi whiskey uncorked I'm new to your channel, I've been watching your videos for about 3 months, and really like what I see,I have found that bubble gum flavor in the compass box orchard house, I just bought 2 more bottles recently, and I just love most compass box whisky's, not for everyone, but I have many different expressions, cheers brother and keep up the great reviews !!!

Yeah man I did come here thanks to John @justwhisky5136 and I'm very happy to have done so, you have a great channel and a fantastic set up where I find myself looking and the bottles behind you a lot 😃 I did get a bubblegum note once in a whisky but I just can't remember now, maybe it was a Ledaig 🤔 I do like Aultmore 12 a lot but I haven't tried the 18 yet. It's not easy to find Aultmores as you've mentioned but after this review I will keep my eyes open! Cheers dude great review 🥃

Thanks for the review! I have been eyeing a Cadenhead’s Aultmore 12 46% bottling at a local store but it’s been an unknown malt for me. This might be convincing me to pull the trigger.

I am definitely on the look out for some independent bottlings of Aultmore now. I think I passed on a few and would love to do a side by side to see if I could pick out some similarities.
