I totally agree with The Master. After reading the nice comments and feedback on this excellent product I made the purchase of a bottle yesterday at the SAQ on St-Catherine's corner of City Counselors here in Montreal. I used to drink Bowmore but since I got a hernia I switched to Bowless. I'm afraid that in a few years, I will have to switch to Bownomore.

Wow, your face lit up like a kids on Christmas Morning when you sniffed that! I bought a nice Islay today and at the same time Bought this Bowmore in a Miniature to try... I wish I'd just bought the Full bottle of this Bowmore 15 Darkest.. It is SO... so satisfying and full of so many different flavours... Top Notch... I'm glad we agree...!

Just got a miniature of this thing, going to compare it with the 16YO Diurachs' Own Jura and 15YO Solera Glenfiddich, hope it's going to be interesting :)

Too much E150 for me. It looks orange to me due to the colouring...it’s just my opinion, but I never buy whiskies with added colour if I can help it. I like to encourage natural colour . To me there is much more care taken, and better quality casks used to produce a fine product.

I'm not getting if this "new" Bowmore 15year bottle version still contain the same whisky as the previous "Darkest" edition, or if Bowmore changed the way they make it over the years. Anyhow, Horst, it almost seems like you have less emphasis doing this review :( I'm not a whisky expert but i loved your passion and empathy you put into your older reviews that made me, as an italian not informed taster, passionate about the whisky universe making me want to know more and more about it! Please keep that special love for your reviews alive!
