Whisky .com tastes the Glendronach 24 years Grandeur. This extraordinary bottle comes in a very unique bottle with a wonderful gift box. It is the perfect high price gift for very special friends. The price tag is quite high.
It is the 5th batch of the Glendronach Grandeur. This bottle is the predecessor of the 31 year old Grandeur.
The nose:
Honey, sherry, raisins, orange juice, mint, spiciness
The taste:
Very intense, spices, a lot of pepper
The finish:
Long with oak, dark chocolate, and oranges

Just acquired this bottle, and it is wonderful, the box is solid wood and the bottle is in itself great but the taste is as good as read.

Unfortunately this whisky is really expensive now (around £700-£800) so I probably won’t get to taste it but if it’s anything like the 21yo then I’m sure it’s worth it.
