Hello! Thank you for reaching out and thank you for listening . Yes, in this song all the keyboard sounds are from the MODX. Except obviously the trumpet which was played by James Suggs. Most of the Album was recorded with the MODX except Kali’s Song, The Prophet Dreams and Coming Home. Which were actually recorded using iPad Apps. Have a great day and hopefully you’ll check out the other albums :-)

Eddie, really beautiful work here. Great song writing. Very mellow and relaxing and the mix and the recording are great. All the frequencies are represented and the song sounds great coming over my Boston computer speakers. Found you by checking out your videos on the ModX8. Bought it several months back. I am taking into account your admonition that the Mod is a fairly lousy sequencer. I own the + and I am just starting to use it. My primary instrument is guitar. Your explanation of the history of the Mod provided a fascinating account of why the sequencer is so damn lame and confusing. It was basically a Johnny come lately add on if I heard you right. All my early sequencing was handled via synth workstations. I started out in the 80s with Ensoniq keyboards and Korgs then moved on to Motifs, a few Rolands and finally the Kronos. Have to say, I could never wrap my head around the Kronos. It pushed me into using and learning Logic for sequencing and composition and I see no reason to keep learning new synth based sequencing systems for composition and recording. I think you said the Mod is a useful sketch pad/ The sounds on the Mod are really inspiring, however. Anyway, thanks for the awesome videos you have put together on sequencing and synths. If you care to listen, I am up here on the Tube under Joe Mystery and Joe Mystery Group. Look for "Amazonia" or Desert Storm"- Joe Mystery Group as well as "Brando" - under Joe Mystery as examples. Best.

Hello and thank you for your kind words. I agree Logic is the way to go however sometimes I’m a sucker for a challenge haha like you I landed for a while on the motifs and I tried the Kronos but idk I couldn’t get use to it so I sold it. Just a couple months ago I did buy the Nautilus and I gotta say it’s interesting. It has great patches and a 16 track audio recorder besides the 16 midi sequencer it’s old school, a bit awkward but. I thing one couldn’t get use to once you know where everything is. Still Logic is the best way to go. I will check you music out thanks for sharing. Hope all is well.

@edgaba Great Eddie. I will keep checking out your channel and hope you do not mind if I stay in touch for synth advisement LOL. By the way I really like that you show mistakes in your videos. Brilliant as it clearly demonstrates potential pitfalls that make fior a great learning experience. BEST.
