Thank you for the great feedback! At least in my county in FL, yes we can use FRP against the walls behind the plumbing (my local authorities informed me that I am not required to insulate). Check with the DPBR and your counties fire department they’ll give great info!

New sub Canada. We are doing the food vendor thingy this summer. Our first year and starting with a tent along side our camper. Our planned events are mainly out in the country, thus a tent. We want to see how we do this year and if all goes well planning to do the food trailer but hoping to find one that already has electrical...is your events mostly electrical hookups? I don't see anything in regards to hookup for a generator which we will have to use for the majority of the events. Looking forward to see your finished project and hopefully videos of your days as a food vendor....so far so good. You are providing a lot of good information here...good luck...

We will be using a generator for our business once operational (I will post a video once I purchase the generator to show my setup). Appreciate your video. Can you please let me how this wall surface has stood the test of time? I did some research and found out that it's not meant for use in areas with great fluctuations in temperature (per the manufacturers website), especially high heat. I've heard that it will separate from the plywood and you have to pull it all out and start over. You're in Florida, so I'd love to know how this has worked for you now that you've had it awhile. I purchased the product but I'm having 2nd thoughts now as I don't want to install an expensive and potential disaster. Thanks.

Great question! So far it has held up great! We will however be installing some stainless steel backsplash just to withstand the extra heat behind the cooking surfaces. Aesthetically it looks awesome thank you so much for your support!

Thank you so much for the support! In terms of national big-chain stores, I’ve struggled to find either of those materials. Best advice I can give you is to search Facebook marketplace and see if you have any locals who may be selling! Wishing you all the best!

Stupid question, can you install white aluminum with unpainted side facing out? Reason I'm asking is the trailer I recently bought already has some aluminum trim and corner pieces that are installed that way . Was thinking about installing the painted panels the same way along the whole back wall so it matches. Thanks for posting these videos.

That is actually a great question! Honestly I’m not sure - I would assume that the other side being completely untreated might not hold up as well as stainless, but it definitely wouldn’t hurt to ask your local heath department! P.S let me know what they say!

Never bothered asking, found a good deal on some stainless steel panels and going that route. $300 to cover the 7x14 back wall of my trailer.

Recently had some metal roofing and stovepipe done and got to talking and sure enough he had some 4x10 sheets of 304 brushed stainless steel laying around. Was shocked with the price. They have great prices on everything to be honest, labor too.

Yes sir! I actually have my system sat inside the trailer right now (getting ready to install soon). I bought my hood from Vevor.com (roughly $800) and my upblast fan from ventilation direct (roughly $550). All fire Surpression systems must be installed by licensed professionals, and costs around $3k unfortunately

That’s a great question! Im actually not sure to be honest, the only thing I would worry about in that scenario would be cutting straight through it when doing any kind of prep work? Of course it would depend on what food your working with, but I would imagine cutting meat or vegetables on FRP wouldn’t hold up so well versus stainless steel countertops? But again, I’m not 100% sure on that one
