I am glad you made your brand Creek Life. I love those creek videos. They remind me of my childhood days playing in the creeks in West Virginia, catching fish, seining minnows and suckers/redhorses, and catching crawdads. I used to have a floating inflatable Shamu that I'd ride down the creeks all summer. Whirligig beetles (what we called '"bass bugs") were particularly fascinating. I spent most of the day down at the creek throwing sticks for my German shepherd to fetch, and I was just thinking about those days. I'm in Northeast Ohio now, and that water is still very cold. But I watched ducks and geese fly over, and I felt a lot of peace today. Keep up the great videos. I really appreciated this one.

Aye!, it's almost summer who's ready for fishing and fish trapping at the creek almost every video

Thats where a lot of your fish are going(to the eagles), they eat a lot of fish. Especially feeding their young. In PA you cannot go within 600 yards of an active eagles nest. SOOO cool you have a nest right on your property. The eagles usually do have 2 chicks(some times only 1 or sometimes 3) but 2 is the norm. Those chicks are pretty much full grown. They grow really fast. They'll probably be branching soon. & then soon after will take their first flight. They usually stay in a surrounding area when they leave. So you might have more nests in the years to come. We have camera's on a few nests around here. Its really neat & interesting to watch them hatch & grow. You could leave the scraps from the fish back out near the nest for the eagles.

I’m telling you watch your small dogs around those Eagles,they can carry them off right under your nose,they took a cat this season to our nest I watch.they are probably getting fish out of your pond. Takes around 5 months to maturity of a juvenile,takes five years to get the white & tail feathers.

Tip: A large natural unflavored yogurt (not lo-fat). Put a filter paper in a large funnel and place it the mouth of a container to catch drippings. Fill funnel with yogurt; place in refrig over night. Next day add the resulting yoghurt 'cheese' to chopped cilantro, lime zest and hot sauce of your choice (I like a little Habanero paste) Put that on your fish in the tortilla. Squeeze some lime juice on the fish and enjoy.

Take and slice some cabbage really fine & put on it. Take a 50/50 mix of Mayo and sour cream, add some lime or lemon juice with some garlic and onion powder. Mix that really good and put on your taco with some homemade salsa.

My brother and I caught a bunch of striped bass below Barkley Dam years ago, they are like white bass but much bigger. We call them rock bass. Once we cut that dark stripe off they were some of the flakiest and best tasting fish I’ve ever eaten. They were hard for me to catch because it was my first time fishing for them.

you can freeze fish , and keep it tasting fresh , by freezing it in water , put the fish in a freezing container then fill with water and freeze, give it a try , you will be surprised , i also do this with shrimp . and not to worry about freezer burn

Stripers (that’s what we call them in IA) is my favorite of all fishes for eating. Used to go with dad up on the Mississippi River but we that river changed traumatically so we don’t that far. Backup was to go to Clear Lake further North but that lake no longer has stripers like it used to so will not be going there anymore. Our local Lakes, George Wyth and Big woods don’t have stripers Sure wish they did!! Good luck with your Sand Bass and enjoy the meals!!!!! Oh I am so jealous!!!

We catch white bass here in Utah in Utah lake and in tha smaller streams that feed the lake. So so good. Walleye fish are really good too. Love them
