In 1850 there were 38 million Americans and 4 million of them are black. Today there are 318 million Americans and 44 million of them are black. In the past 150 years the population of the United States has increased by a factor of ten. The fact that there are more blacks in some phase of the penal system than there were enslaved as an overall number doesn't mean shit.

What is the solution? how do you know when you've solved these problems? Can you possibly solve these problems? I'm of Croatian descent and I go to Croatia often as well as other former Yugoslav countries and for the life of me I can't tell us apart, same language, just different beliefs, and yet less than 2 decades ago genocide was committed. It will never ever get better, wait for the economy to collapse and prepare for a racial onslaught like you've never seen against one another.

Cry me a river. Before the Europeans who founded America came over here, they were caught up in ghastly religious wars, Catholics and Protestants killed each other--we even burned a few people at the stake. Nationalities were at each other's throats. Once we Europeans got here, we eventually got the hang of getting along. One way to NOT do that is for us to snipe at each other about potato famines and long forgotten feuds.

I agree that white privilege certainly exists, and is a real thing even in 2014. But why does nobody ever speak of Jewish privilege, which is just as strong if not more so? TIm Wise, who's grandfather is of Russian Jewish origin, somehow neglects to mention that important bit of information. It's a double standard. But that doesn't excuse the fact that blacks have been severely mistreated by whites in this country for centuries, and (albeit to a much lesser extent) are still mistreated to this day. Tim Wise's hypocrisy does bother me though. I suppose he is right for the wrong reasons. I sincerely hope that both white's and Jew's power over this nations wanes.

Natives were majority and whites were minority during colonial period. We were not native to America. The natives were mistreated unfairly even though they were majority. It doesnt fucking matter if minority or manority. There is no excuse for injustice and favoritism, its wrong to begin with.
