@@cimbrerbushcraft-vikingheritag In those day we had a very small electricity fuse box and electric heaters as they now exist were not there yet so the beds had several thickness of blankets and you had to sleep with a bonnet on your head to prevent your brain to freeze and get a head cold. Even in my adult life I lived in houses where there had to be 3 wood stoves to heat the house, one wood furnace in the basement, one slow combustion stove in the living room and one wood stove in the kitchen... Of course our goal was to rely more on electricity as to save fire wood and have a lesser carbon print on nature, our electricity is produced by hydro, less polluting than the one produced by nuclear or coal or oil . People should never forget how to get warm in the winter with simple means of a wood fire...✨💥✨Have a good day Tom your days start earlier in Denmark, Here the sun is not quite up here at this time of the year as the days are much shorter than in the summer, it will be up around 7

I really enjoyed the arial view of the surrounding land (beautiful country). I noticed both pipes in the same shot. I’ve been a long time cigar aficionado. However, I just purchased my first pipe (similar to your new pipe). I am enjoying learning the nuances of it (much more to it then cigar smoking). That simple camp meal looked very interesting (no refrigeration required), I’m certainly going to try something like that. I went camping several days ago (very hot, humid, thunderstorms, and plenty of mosquitoes 🦟, such is Florida this time of year lol). Sorry for rambling, your video just brought so much to mind. I like your flag pole and the way you put it up and it will be there for awhile before it has to be replaced. Your stew is going to look great and you must be ready to eat it as soon as it is finished cooking. The finished product does look nice and must be so delicious too and you won't be hungry once you are back home after such a nice meal.

Excellent video Tom. If I may offer just a small word of advice on canoeing with a second person, I encourage KZbin paddling tutorials for BOTH people and PATIENCE is a necessity of the learning process. That’s why most people in the USA have switched to individual kayaks instead of one canoe. It really reduces stress and arguments during the learning phase.🔥🍳⛺️☕️👍👍
