I think this push towards "righteousness" in America, is treacherous, especially when we have a deeper understanding of the actual principles that initially were implemented in the creation of this nation, which were, among many others, that of religious liberty. Look, I promote neither parties, but the one which seems the best now in the eyes of Protestant Christians, may well turn out to be the one sparking religious persecution again in this nation which, several centuries ago, started out as the haven for the persecuted ones... What if under the guise of bringing back religion and the Bible to this nation, Americans will actually hand it over fully to the Roman See? I'm sorry bro but I can't get behind this 1. For a couple of reasons. 1. Why did he only pinpoint the black. Why not the hispanic or other ethnicity churches that believe the same way. That's causing separation and division to the thing that God made to be together. 2. With the pastor coming on to say the things he said the way it was said, came of as racist and he had no care that it did. We as black saints are more or less saved than him.
