Where do you get your fur from and how does the neck look so long at first and so short at the end
@CreaturesofNat7 жыл бұрын
I usually get it locally when the shops have sales on ( I'm in Australia)

Really love the raccoon, though disappointed that you didn't show the furring and painting of the head or tail.

I like your videos, but I feel like some of the painting should be a little sped up? Like should it really take almost 4 minutes to watch you paint two eyes? That gets a little boring after a couple of videos. You also complain a lot about things being hard to do? Alright, we get art is hard, but that’s not necessary to find something to say in every video about why it’s difficult. I like your videos as a creative process but at this point I have to put them on x2 speed and mute it unfortunately. Yes, it’s your channel and your videos, but these are just my thoughts and opinions as a semi-frustrated viewer. Maybe do a time lapse and have parts here and there with a voiceover?

Hey! Thanks for the feedback, I definitely try and include things for everyone, some people like the voice overs some don't. I had a lot of feedback about difficulties, people seemed to like that I point it out, it makes them aware of it. So I feel like it's something that I can't quite please everyone with? I also try to include things in real time to show how long it does actually take but noted maybe a shorter segment. Anyway, thanks for the honest feedback, it will help me make my channel better for you guys. :)

For what it is worth I enjoyed watching it, but I suppose you can't please everyone

I like it, though I wouldn't mind watching the paint in real time even. I think videos with voice over is so much more personal with a personal connection, and I like that it is stated that it is difficult so that people know it's something that takes patience and practice and so that people can choose if they want to put their money into such a hobby. Speed videos makes everything look quick and easy which can warp the reality a bit where people might buy stuff then don't have the patience to put in several hours and days into tiny details and feel like they wasted money. Crafting takes so much time and that's what makes it relaxing, and videos that are too rushed and too sped up doesn't feel relaxing to me but rather stressful and unsatisfying and like the video maker worries about taking too long and fear of claiming space. But that being said, a blend usually makes a great balance. :)

I also feel like her saying “ I also don’t usually show these parts because they’re my developed methods and I feel like everyone should find their own way to do it” seems a bit like she doesn’t want to share her ways with the community, which I feel is kinda messed up, yes there are many ways to do this, but you shouldn’t guard your method, no one else in the art doll YT community does, and I feel like not showing the WHOLE process defeats the purpose of the videos being tutorials, but that’s just my honest opinion
@Voiidpriince3 жыл бұрын
@@katherinechildress6660 most of the time they’re not even developed methods, like the flocking is pretty cool and uncommon but not a developed method since you can find tons of tutorials for the same thing. It’s not like anyone who is a maker couldn’t figure it out, and any entry level maker isn’t going to run her out of business by using the same techniques
