How’s the wr for slower riding like mostly 1st and slow 2nd putzing Is there a lot of stalling?

It got much better in the slow stuff once I added the gytr comp ecu and loaded a map that also helped with stalling less and has less engine braking. Before that I had adjusted my idle to help tame it a little.

What hand guards are you using?

Those are the acerbis rally pro x strong handguards. No complaints, color matched nicely.

How do you like the WR

I am loving it, especially after getting the competition ECU. full disclosure this is my first true dirt bike (I learned on xr650l for 2 years prior) and I feel like I made the right choice rather than going straight to a 2 stroke. The suspension is awesome and the bike is really durable. I've been doing enduro races with it as well as other longer mileage events and have racked up over 110 hours in the 16 months that ive had it. other WR owners have told me that it can go for much longer without having to do the top end as long as you aren't revving it too high too much. when I bought it was also looking at a 300TPI but honestly I just like the yamaha more and the fact that I can adjust maps for the bike over wifi just makes it that much more awesome.

If that’s considered the expert loop you gotta come to B.C. That’s a fun intermediate ride by our standards

For sure. I think it only gets this rating at the event to help keep beginners from clogging it up. There are a couple features that might make it challenging for some but yeah it’s a fast and flowy fun loop. Riding in BC is a dream. Looks awesome from what I’ve seen watching Grizzbait videos.
