So in elden ring blue water represents purity and flowing water while red water represents rot and stagnation. So maybe the blue lake tributaries dried up?

Nice to touch on stagnation also as a perhaps parallel theme depending on your interpretation of the Weirwood magic. Assuming you've played Sekiro or are at least familiar with it somewhat, stagnation is one of the primary themes and is shown as a source of impurity. Which makes sense considering that concept's importance both in Fromsoft games and Japanese mythos

If the bloody blade “blood” isn’t from sacrifice as he theorizes, then perhaps the hammer caused rivers to dry up. The red lake being “rotten” could be symbolic of the weirnets “rot” now that it has been desecrated.

Omg, so in Elden Ring, the Gods that they worship actually get sent from the cosmos to The Lands Between on meteors!! The people then tend to worship those fallen entities. In Bloodborne its almost the same ( outter beings come to earth from the cosmos) and because the people took advantage and essentially R worded the Gods for power, magic, knowledge; and are being punished for it. Would you think that the others are similar and that the wacky weather and everything else is a punishment for the disrespect of the old gods?

im so sorry bro ik i always hit u a 1000 questions but this is kinda more serious,how could the maesters NOT know magic was back , if they ACTUALLY thooroughly did their research and dug like marwin they wouldve seen but the maesters believed magic had pretty much completely gone from the world well at least in westeros, and we know that isnt true not for westeros or essos but i specifically say essos cause bravos was founded upon the back of some form of blood magic. at least in the show thats how it seems. ik the show isnt canon but it would seem magic was never so far gone as the maesters believed, Quarth the house of undying, the faceless men of bravos heck even the woods witch where was she ik it was somewhere around casterly rock. and then you got marwyn sorry abt spelling. he was a maester, i guess the majority of them where so indoctrinated against magic that they wouldnt have believed it if the glass candles had lit up

If magic consumes its user, then what if the greenseers' features (green skin, antlers) are the consequences of using green magic? Even if a greenseer's actual transformation doesn't make them look like Garth Greenhand, they definitely turn into worm food like Bloodraven and join the hive mind.

i REALLY wish we could get a flash back of Eurons dream when Bloodraven came to him, i thought the ice spires symbolically and maybe literally killed the greenseer but more importantly destroys the power within that person, im probably wrong but how else could Euron have survived the fall if it really does kill u? what if his dream led him to jump out off a spot that was over the ocean so when he fell he landed in the water and ended up doing the drowned ritual after that breif connection to the net he felt like he had the knowledge of a god and maybe he kinda did gain some kinda deeper understanding of the magic on planetos
