the fact that WB wanted a family because he was an orphan kid from a poor village and they weren't able to pay the attribute to the celestial dragons so they were constantly attacked by pirates without the marines to protect them , however , WB young and his friends were defending their village

In my opinion, the most magnificent thing about the younkous is their meanings/goals are based on their life experience. Even some of them are antagonist, they have a little of humanity and good intention, but they ve gotten changed bcs of the many horribles caused by the war or by The World Goverment, during their childhood

Manga Whitebeard lost a chunk of his face in this battle. Truly a battle/arc that will go down in history. And the best part of it is that we lose...Oda is just so original with how he constructs his plot and characters. Truly amazing.

This is peak story telling and the genius of oda. Whitebeard, Roger, Garp,Sengoku, Rayleigh, Kaido are considered as the pinnacle of one piece in terms of power. By introducing the admirals to the strawhats, oda showed us how weak the heroes are in the grand plan of things. It was kind of like mihawk and zoro moment for the whole crew as well as the reader. Then when the apex was introduced i,e Whitebeard, the gap between him and the adimrals showed the audience what the very top looks like. Basically, its the only time I have seen in anime, where the power scale has been already introduced with the pinnacle so early in the series, and has always maintained that scale. The top people in the series were introduced so early and are still the top people. Everything basically has a cap but there is still so much to grow to reach that cap. And Oda has smoothly raised the crews level with fantastic arcs. There has never been a moment where I have felt like " Oh, this guy suddenly got power boost, just out of plot." Every power up comes from individual arcs which in itself is stuff of legend. (Alabasta being my fav). Fuck I am high.

Honestly the only nit pick i have is Crocodile. The dude who shows up at marineford, fucks with everyone even Mihawk and Doflamingo yet he got defeated too easily by Luffy, i’d be happy if he’s a dumbass like Moria but Crocodile deserves another arc about him or something man

That's a very subjective opinion and i think you're being biased cus you just snuck in rayleigh there when he doesn't have enough feats/statements for us to put him on the same caliber as roger/wb/garp/sengoku. Just bcs he's a fan favorite doesn't make him any more powerful than he actually is. You chose to ignore characters like akainu just bcs they oppose the mc and are unlikeable as characters. If you want to debate then i'll take you on, i'm not tryna be toxic but i'm just sayin this cus ppl tend to overrate their favs and downplay the admirals as well as the characters they don't like.

every pirate laugh when he says family. years later where other pirates running away because a single marine admiral fleet show up in their island, but not with whitebeard. he invaded their HEADQUARTER, single handedly obliterated everyone in the rank, destroyed the whole island, only to save his family. that's the weight behind his dream.

Only about 3 pirates could go head to head against roger...1. Rocks 2. Wb 3. Shiki . rocks was obviously very Superior but some say even wb was stronger than roger in raw power but roger put ahead a Lil in terms of over all haki efficiency. Wb ....2nd true pirate king.

Garp? Fighting Roger toe to toe to the near death many times? In addition to your comment imo WB was stronger than Roger was. He had his title when Roger was still alive. Roger and WB were equal in terms of haki but WB power edges Roger just by a tiny bit. Of course Roger and WB can 1v1 everybody in the verse maybe except of Xebec. The difference between Roger and WB is that Roger can't create such collateral damage. WB on top of that can sink islands, ships, twist the sky and sea and kill thousands of men with just one tremor. Sengoku wasn't lying about power to destroy the world (in terms of buildings, machinery etc).
