Like my Dad used to say, "At 50' and 50 MPH, no one will notice those 'repairs'!" I've got a deadhead whitetail that needs attention hanging in the garage. Been waiting for another project to come along so I can take full advantage of getting everything out and set up. You may have inspired me to just go for it though! Thanks!

Hi, I´m a hunter from Germany and started to clean my Roebucks like that. It really works good, but if I cook the skull to the point when the Skin of the bone on the nose splits, the conection of the bones is gone too. Should I cook it for a shorter amount of time or is it the way to go on Roedeer?

Sup Ryan Olsen? I was watching the hunting videos and it seemed intense when you hunt rams and animals that are on mountains. You gotta stalk and follow them. I think that turkey hunting or hunting a moose with antlers would be more fun. I've never went hunting before though. Do you still hang out with deer meat for dinner? I still have fun watching your videos. ♡ =]

Hey Brother, yes Rob (DMFD) and i still talk. The Two different coast lines keep us from hanging out. Mountain hunts are much more extreme than lowland hunts but they are are special in their own way. Thanks for watching.

Hey man, I have 2 questions that have developed from watching your videos over the years. Never commented but I think 1 other time I just like and watch haha. Question 1. When hammering those horns to shock them loose, do you end up scratching them since they are sitting on the concrete? I'm sure the impact from the hammer causes scratch marks or indentations on the horn when being hammered onto the concrete. So that's where that Question came from. Question 2. When cutting the meat and tissue away from the skull, do you ever leave cut or knick marks on the skull or other areas of bone? If any of those are a yes, how do you fix it? Do you fix it? Thanks sir.

I notice the teeth on the cow skull were very loose or missing. This year I found a decaying buck in the woods with a beautiful rack. I'm thinking it's been dead for over a year. It smelled so bad but I took it home and cleaned it up. But I noticed all the teeth were gone. And the teeth line was very dark yellow/brown. Would you happen to know why?
@WHITEBONE4 жыл бұрын
Typically the bugs and critters eat all the tissue in and around the roots of the teeth as coyotes and scavengers drag that head around those teeth will fall out and the yellow around that rim is staining either from the soil or from oil but it’s not easy to get out.

I have one question, I have a skull from an animal that decayed naturally, it's about a year old but there is still some dry, hard tissue stuck to it. Thankfully it doesn't stink and is really cool, it was from a mare we had to euthanize due to cancer and you can see the place where the cancer was on her skull. But I don't know how to get the hard tissue off. :c
