Well damn, this was surely pleasing seeing in my feed. So much to love about this truck (the fresh body and cab in particular), and it really is a shame that it’s probably gone. Definitely wish more Octo front loaders like this one were around in surrounding cities. Glad you got some footage of this one, nice work Scott!

WOW! That was awesome, had no idea you were actually able to get a clip of this thing. Miss when oldies like this were a common sight, although I guess to be fair, I'm even surprised that they had this running as late as 2013. Those smooth aluminum rims look amazing on the truck too. Awesome video!

Beautiful truck. It sounded amazing. This video brought back great memories I'm so glad you posted this. I remember seeing this truck all the time when I was younger but by the time I got around to look for it a Volvo WXLL Wittke had already replaced at the time (2014). I'm so glad the WM Carson yard had the Compton yard do their bulkies. That yard in compton had a bunch of gems, believe Aaron toured it long ago. Just sad how that yard, like many other ones, decided to opt for a generic fleet. Thanks again Scott
