tldr: the real path for mimogs is northern sakurajima beach with katress and maybe pumped up world settings, if the circumstances allow it. there are plenty of wtf points, like its insaaaane.... 1. just fly some m away from the big bee spawn and they get despawned... killing them is such a waste of time. de-/spawn range is short in this game, thats why you can set alpha bosses in dungeons by moving only 1,5 rooms away from them. 2. 3x spawn in world setting does not make it harder when you get no dmg but oneshot everything anyway 3. you dont need to kill all pals around the mimogs first... in fact you even dont get loot from a mimog who dies but didnt get dmg from you 4. at 11:33 there are mimogs to the left of you, one even burning but you kinda never look behind? they dont spawn like chests, they spawn like pals, hence sometimes late and you have to spin alot to see them 5. not only the spawn rate is raised, the drop rate is raised aswell 6. you rightclick honey to feed pals? besides it beeing a waste, try the food bag 7. you dont jump first for the glider trick, you just grapple hook the ground and the game gives you an automated jump. pocketpair had to design this automated jump in cause of the inertia of the grappling hook. you just make it unconsistent by jumping yourself before. its a two button input trick now and not even a hard one 8. the lasers only shoot flying mounts when mounted, hence they shoot you even if you are under/below the oil rig 9. the guided missile launcher is THE WORST weapon to do the oil rig with, since the cost of ammunition while you twoshot anything with the normal rocket launcher and oneshot most things with legendary rocket launcher. ammo cost is a real thing and who wants to farm pure quartz all the time (on astegon back) to get curicuit boards for the guided missile launcher? its rather for raidbosses and hard-towers 10. the general oil rig rotation you show is complete garbage. you want to check all 4 big treasure locations with all the small treasures you can grap on the optimal route on the way. the big treasure also drops dog coins iirc but other big loot aswell. 11. the actual fastest location is not even shown as a route here and you mightve even taken some spawn points from it away with the mining base but the northern beach in sakurajima beach shows the biggest loot cause greatest level mimogs and they spawn farely well there too. the problem on finding mimigs? you need to look around and not tunnelvision the path in front of you like in point number 4. so lets summarize this video: 1st method is talking a lot but not actual flying, no given timeframe to get an estimate of dogcoins farmed. this method is failed to doom anyway in comparison cause of the pumped up world settings. 2nd method is you learning the route with HUGE time wastes. no given timeframe aswell for an estimate. big loot cause of pumped up world settings. 3rd method is failing basically everything on the oil rig including the grappling hook trick, general oil information, routing, priorisation, weapon choice and even dieing on the rig. if you play with normal server settings like on another server, you lose all pals and items there and start a retrieve mission. again saved by world settings. no given timeframe and big chest not found. 4th method is cheating in soloplay only, which sucks for those who want to play with friends. i suggest you make a new video where you compare: 1. lava strip 2. northern sakurajima beach 3. oil rig (optimal pathing) time frames must be kinda the same, given by oil rig for comparison. make multiple oil rig runs to get the multiple spawn locations into your equation. change the settings to "normal" for a legit comparison and use cheats outside of your video. its super easy to make it somewhat consitent...

@@kylestewart2829 lauterbach legalized weed so i grindet it while optimizing farm roads. i was at around 6k/h mimog coins in north sakurajima beach at 3xspawn/drop rate but with heavy chill. to my defense i posted how to (chain)grapple hook tutorials 6-7months ago. i got time, when i came back to palworld and rushed it. mimogs were new stuff and i had to optimize it and usualle i answer when im too drunk to play like now. anyway im grinding deadlock now.

I just do method number 1 and 2 all the time my rule is every time I see a mimog or a high level trash pile I loot it no matter what I’ve even looted them mid boss battle with jetragon

I play on boosted drops and with a Lv5 Katress out and I get from 48-100 (its random) with the average sweet spot being 60-72 (from the Lava Strip). Is this ok? (Gamepass PC version)

If you use the Meteor Launcher weapon to shoot these, it doesn't run. It just blows it into the air and then it comes back down. BUT it stays put. I usually can take it out in 2 shots. Repeat, it DOES NOT run. Don't know yet if it is the same with other launcher weapons, as don't have access yet.

Scars of War Region, To The Right side of Sealed Realm of the Swift Waypoint is the best with 12 Spawns locations.

at 7:30 just go up and down with some speed, no need to fly so low either, cause u can miss some on the sides. Ive done this method with 3X spawn, and that place is the BEST for mimog's. Also dont bother killing stuff, ads will respawn when u go up and down that place.

You also get the dog coins if you catch them. The Mimog in the volcano crack are 100% catch by ultraballs.

I've noticed that Mimog's don't run if you hit them with a tornado type attack. So you can lower their health by riding a pal with the mercy effect. Hit them with a tornado attack then finish them off with katress out. Edit: while riding a pal the mercy ring also applies to the damage of the pal you are riding.

First of ... I like your pitch of your voice. Not to high, low or overly energized (if you know what I mean), but for me atleast it is relaxing to listen to. The reason why you get circuit boards from the rubbles on Sakurajima Isle, is that you need them for missiles which is the ammo for both the guided missile launcher and the multi guided missile launcher. I have seen/read several YT videos and articles about the best weapons in Palworld after the Sakurajima update. They all mention the old rocket launcher (RL) as the top tier long range weapon. But for me after I finally got it in legendary aswell, then I have to say that the multi guided missile launcher (MGML) is so much better. If you only look at the damage number per hit, then yes the RL is the best. But if you factor in reload time, and compare them with damage over time e.g. DPM (damage per minute). then the MGML is the best. Because it have the same 6 sec reload time as the RL, and you have 4 missiles per reload. To compare, I used the Moonflower Tower, and looked at the remaining time. A quick question. Do you know if the drop chance for a legendary schematic on the oil rig is increased, if you have disabled all the towers?

Pal spawns are kind of like vehicle spawns in GTA. Certain vehicles spawn more frequently in some areas but you can sometimes go to those areas and never see any of them. You have to leave and come back multiple times before they start showing up. Same in Palworld. I rarely see Mimogs in that volcano alley but I do see them in the desert or on the new island. But then the next time I go back I see few or none. It’s just random.

to those who said its easy might because they playing on boosted server, adjusted the spawn rate, or used mod. while im here playing in dedicated server with normal rate, the server owner already quit and we hv to farm it normally. for me to get more dog coin, i need to explore the new island, find the trash pile and hope it get drop when doing the oil rig for every 30 minutes.

i know i am very late but i am new on palworld and yesterday while finding a good oil base location on sakurajima, i found a teleport spot that every about 1/4 times i teleported there was a mimog right infront of me

You need to learn the spawn locations at the volcano crack. You missed so many opportunities just staying low and straight up and down. I use 3x spawn and get around 4k an hour from that location. But its all about learning the location of every spawn point and going in and out of rendor for the pals. Stay high so you can see the spawns on the side of the cliffs. Rockets wont let them run also. And the fast travel can spwan them aroun there also.

I use 3 x Spawns and 3 x Loot drops and get say around half of what you get (48-100 per catch - average 64-72). I use a Rank 5 Katress out (set to not kill). Then I one shot with a Rifle and catch so I get double the XL Books. I'm thinking the rates are different between platforms?

So I have a theory for a method, why not just breed them, then slaughter them? I haven't tested this method myself, yet, but from my understanding: you get the drops from capturing them then you slaughter them to get more. I know breeding them doesn't give the initial drops but hey why complain when you have 100+ mimog eggs?

Mimogs don't spawn very reliably and idk how often the scrap heaps respawn... dog coins are annoying to get lol...the cheat method wont work for me because my main file is on a dedicated server not owned by me that im the only one whose been playing on.... lol

around the start of my play through i find a shiny mimog and it was like the second mimog i saw in the game. it was on the early level snowy biome where you fight the second boss tower. i was still under leveled for this area and so it made for a really fun time. i immediately tried attacking it and catch it, but as mentioned i was very low level so obviosely he began running and i bagan chasing the shiny box. only after by sheer infinite luck, i found it not once, not twice, but three times! i managed to catch it and called it "shinymog" which is funny to me because my real name also ends with "mog". hope you have fun reading this😁

Its not cheating to use settings in the game that the devs have provided. As far as the mod is concerned he even said "he regards it as cheating" and warns viewers to switch off his video if they only want to use legit methods. He was being totally fair to his viewers and covering all bases....

I'm on Game Pass PC version but I know if I use a mod it will likely take any challenge out of the game so its not all bad....that said, I do wish mods were easier to install/manage on MS products (Game Pass/PC and Xbox) for when you are done with a game and just want to explore once all challenges have been met.....
