Blue Cat has some great unique plugins… their multi-band plugin insert plugin is amazing… put whatever plugin you want on any band… great for adding vocal effects where you have only a part of the vocal frequency bands to add more subtle effects or what I love it for is when making sampled hip hop beats… once you recorded the vinyl then effect it into a new song before chopping it up… Now with this plugin I can maybe create music with my daughter in her room and me in the studio… or when she suddenly has something cool and can play it through… pretty cool

@@thedevilsadvocate5210 Installation was easy. You just need to install the server on the places you want to offload DSP to, and install a plugin. It saves the must CPU if you use it on a second PC, but you can also run the server on the same PC as where you use the plugin so it will offload to another core on your CPU. If you have a lot of cores that can get you extra power too. I think it's worthwhile. It's been stable for me. I don't use it very often though, only for very big projects.

Connector opens up some very good creative possibillities, besides the practical ones you showed in this vid! Going to test it tomorrows,.

Thanks for the video ! Well done , seconds after you roll your audio example I cmd -F "Owner" - not found , hmm no one else heard the intro to Yes' "Owner of a Lonely Heart" your riff alluded to it imo with the first three notes and rhythm "duh duh duht... [duh duht]' .. I was playing around with this last night between my Mac Pro DAW 2008 3,1and a Windows PC desktop. Best scenario for me was playing live input monitoring guitar with amp sim plug-in in Reaper [BC Connector send] into Gig Performer on the Mac Pro with BC Connector [Rcv] , playable latency ! Trying the same Snd- Rcv Scenario in Logic ProX Rcv from Reaper I could only get the audio connected by using a AU Midi Controlled Instrument Channel strip , and even then it wouldn't really work until I invoked Play and it was sort of rough hiccupy before it settled , then a test recording by sending to a Bus in LPX and recording that Bus output into a track and the latency was huge , still interesting for many other scenarios , and for me host names didn't really get me connected , it was IP address's 192.168.100.108 in my case .... thanks again !

If you use the plugin on the audio mixing track, then you must do realtime audio bouncing. Otherwise the audio of the plugin doesnt get exported. If you want to record the audio in logic, I would think you need to go to the bus routing route. So route the audiotrack which has the incoming audio of connector to for instance bus 10 and create a new audio track with bus 10 as input and record that track.
