Exellent Video. I have been having issues releasing the hinge, and the tip to relax the pointer finger solved it. I am way more consistent now. Thanks Joel!

I just learnt a new way to fire my Stan Onnex & it is smooth as silk. Rotate to my click & then i slowly squeeze my pinky finger to my hand on my 3 finger release. 😊

Im new to shooting a hinge as it just arrived in thr mail and I guess I've effectively been punching it. Thanks for this video as it wouldn't be great to pick up bad habits.

I use the click as a warning/indicator of proper position, if the click is early I need to come down and restart, if the click is late, I need to come down, if the click goes at roughly the correct time then I initiate the shot. If the click is persistently early or persistently late then I needs adjusting !!

I think to get myself most comfortable with a hinge i need to find a decent priced one with a safety. Too many times with my current one have i not drawn correctly

I'd like to thank whoever invented the hinge release for saving archery for me. Target panic made me hate shooting a bow.

Since going to a hinge I can’t use anything else. For me living in the south being able to punch any release is a must I feel like. . Tenths of a second can mean taking the shot or not depending on how thick it is. I’ve found that when I draw, I just get to the clip quickly, then I’m ready when the shot opportunity comes. Taken 6 pigs in the last few months with my hinge and getting more confident all the time. Dean

When u rotate off the ondex finger is ur shot coming off the back wall? Seems like ot would
@cardinalcrazy0911 ай бұрын
No. Keep pressure on the back wall mainly using your back is the correct way.

I don't know if I'm brave enough to try a hinge. I want to keep all my teeth.😄 Although I bet if I put the time in it would pay off. Although I get something other than a thumb button I'm not sure if I'd be better off with a hinge or with a tension release.
