An absolutely gorgeous new ship. Funny how a game that started as a space combat Sim has so many beautiful ships you don't want to take anywhere near a combat situation.

Sounds like a super ship, but I won't buy or even think about it again as CIG has all of these great ships we never see, even tho backer money was spent. But they give us new ships we can't fully use, all about sales. Been a backer for years and still long ways to go.

Really liked the moment where they talked in front of the odyssey. Even top gear had calm moments in between “the action” and that was very welcome here. Next time there should be more of that, wouldn’t mind a more proper 15-20 minute episode where Jax talk about ships and discuss more instead of just having action snippets.

One would go on and on about the wars and history of the oldest ships in the game, the other would go crazy for adventure and ships with absurd stats and performance, and finally the gear head who understood mechanics of the ships and always ended up in a crash… god I wish

Just wow! Loved this season of Whitley's Guide! It's nice that you let your writers have some fun with heartwarming drama. Definitely something I wish we could have more in the game...thinking of the old Tessa Bannister, or the detective mission on the Daymar orbital station.

During that clip, the bottom left is labeled IAE 2951, which is this year. So it's still new in-verse despite being treated like B-roll footage.

The cargo refactor was suppose to be out but had to get pushed until next year. I am sure the raft was primed for the cargo refactor. They released the raft anyways since it was ready.

@@chomp7927 I suspect they designed the Raft as a stopgap to go out ahead of the refactor, just in case the refactor itself went smoothly but there were issues with the Hull. That way after the end of year update, people would definitely have access to at least one ship that uses the feature, no matter what. And also, it would be flyable even if the refactor got pushed, which it did.

"At the end of the day, it's all about the ships". Some ships look over complicated and seem to belong more in a world war II setting. Some seem straight out of my favourite futuristic sci-fi novel. I'm not naming any because I love the variety of styles. There is a ship for every roll and every person.

oh god that would be amazing. They hold the release of pyro for the expo next year during a free flight event and make it a series of missions that take you around all of pyro trying to track him down before having to rescue him in a community event like xenothreat where everyone has to come attack the pirate flotilla that is holding him hostage. Event ends with the players having to disable a pirate idris then landing on it, fighting your way through it to get Jax out and back to stanton. Then everyone gets some kinda neat cosmetic for participating.
