I started watching some Whitney clips after she passed. It's sad that she's gone so soon. You could see how much she adores her daughter. Even when her voice wasn't what it used to be she can still sing and move around and dance. Too many artists today give a good performance but can't sing. They lip sing in order to dance. May you be in the arms of the Father and rest now. I'll be sending out prayers for your family, especially your daughter as she goes through this tough road.

you have to appreciate , when it gets to the stage you cannot sing the song anymore and having the stage presence that just singing the opening verses and dancing too it can set the crowd wild, shows what a legend you are . There are much better performances and this was an merely off day, however I just love the way just dancing to it was enough to make you want to watch the performance and few can do that, I think the fact she wasn't pretending to mime it helped and simply jamming to her own song , while the backing singers and tracks played, she didn't need to prove herself by singing or fake it by miming anymore - few can pull that off and retain respect.

Her voice was in better shape when she did her performances on Oprah and at the AMA`s. Those performances were both in 2009 while she was promoting the "I Look To You" album. She just had a bad day here with her voice. She still sang live, which I think is a positive thing, because no matter what Whitney Houston gave everything that she had, when she went on the stage. She was a great performer and she had a positive spirit. :)

Whitney Houston was the best, we miss her and the "Voice" she did not no the talent that yhe Lord Blessed her with, she had it all, she was beautiful, talent, loving mother and brothers, some folks whats to go off into show business but do not no how to handle all the responsibility that came with it, she knew the Lord, all she had to do was turn to him instead of drugs, drugs is never the answer to nothing, Whitney lived Bobby Brown, but she wanted him to throw off the pressure from her brother Michael, Michael supply her with the drugs, so she married Bobby, knowing that he had a bad reputation so that everyone would think that is was Bobby got her started on drugs, Michael and Cissy was on national television and Michael admit that it was him that got Whitney Houston started on drugs, and Bobby was after the fact, but God do not like ugly, Bobby lock up was the best thing that could have happened to him, he looks good, not using, Whitney Houston did not want to leave it alone, I thought once she had a child that would make her want to stop her from using, but it didn't and we all lost one hell of a Diva she had it all, Whitney Houston I pray that your soul is at peace, out of Whitney Houston interview on the Oprah show and Bobby Brown book, which I have not bought or read, I believe Cissy Houston book, she have no reason to lie and she did not take her daughter side, my heart really goes out to Cissy Houston, to loose her daughter and granddaughter, Cissy is a warrior for the Lord, and God is given her the strength to carry on, Love you Cissy Houston RIP# Whitney Elizabeth Houston and Bobbi Kristina Houston-Brown#

She was just on the X Factor in the UK and was VERY wierd. She walked awkwardly, her dress broke, and when interviewed her eyes were distracted, and she couldn't concentrate on the questions asked. Perhaps it would have been better if she performed in the morning ........... before she needed to calm her nerves.

I can't help but notice that 'The Voice' is absent. The backing singers are doing most of the singing. I realise she is 'in the moment' and wants the crowd to join in but this was her big comeback and she needs to get her voice back in order because when it's not 'tired' it's one of the best voices in the world EVER. At the moment she sounds like mary J blige.

I thought her GMA performance was pretty cool. I'll admit that she could have performed "I Look To You" better. But I loved the emotion from that performance. And I seriously can't believe that people are saying that she blamed Oprah for her voice messing up. All Whitney said was "I did a 3hr interview with Oprah. And it got emotional". The way some are going on about it, you'd think she flat out said "Oprah it's all your fault" Seriousy, come on people.

Of course her voice is not the same. It will never be.... I love the raspiness of it now though.... If she could hold her notes now (like she does on the actual album) in live performances she would be able to take on another image. Her voice is still quality but she is gonna need some more training to get it back to at least the 2002 days.... I love the CD though... it's fresh and it's Whitney....

Sadly, just like Michael, with Whitney they had half attempted to clean her and proceeded to push her out on anti-anxiety meds and clear her debts immediately with lackluster promotion and tours that couldn't even complete Europe. Britney's handlers did the same thing in 09 but made sure she was never ever left alone for 2 years... poor Whitney.
