Wow, she looked calm, put together and feeling good in her skin. She turned her life around and seemed to be in good mental space before she passed. She always loved our Lord and may she be singing his praises in heaven. You worked your whole life Whitney and came full circle ma'am. Rest easy Whitney.

Well said my dear becomes full every time I watch videos You May think am stupid to Feel the way I do to hear about people making from her pain ,making documentaries of her life and lies and they did not Really know her , they never asked how she is coping and truly show her love I just feel so sick sometimes thinking about how even family used her May God have no mercy on their souls because when his wrath turns on them , and people spending her money living Their fake life.

This was the best time for her to continue on healing the voice. Her voice was so clear during this period. She fell in the wrong hands after her album dropped. During this period you can tell she was still on a strict regimen of limited smoking and vocal exercise. She is still the one of the greatest voices of all time. That will never change.

Still is a major hit. No ones voice will sound the same 30 years later in the music industry. Our voices change age alone, damage, abuse, touring, etc. Its unrealistic to think that someone will sound like they did in their twenties as everyone likes to shame Whitneys voice. Even at her "worse" she was still the greatest of all time. One of the reasons she's gone today trying to live up and be good enough her whole career. Look at any artist that has been around for a few decades they all have a different sound in their voices, Tina, Cher, Madonna, Celine, Mariah, Patti, I can keep going. As far as the voice Whitney Houston here her voice suited this song very well and she sounded amazing because she is the voice because of the pain and struggle she had gone through and turning to her savior the lord. And this song has gotten a lot of people through some of their darkest of days.

She shouldn't have been forced to do that last tour. Whitney was tired, just think back her whole career, how many world tours she did and how she gave her all. She should have been able to relax, she didn't need to sing another note, we knew she was the greatest :(

She was heavily in debt and needed the money! She doesn’t make as much money off of albums anymore ...money is from touring. And she doesn’t wright her songs which means she has no copyright to them most of the money goes to the songwriter.
@roycey32

I don't think there's a bigger fan of hers than I... And I would NEVER say anything bad about her. In my eyes & as far as I'm concerned, she can do no wrong... Even with all her troubles. But let's be very clear and honest here. She was NOT forced into that tour. She did that tour by choice because, for all intents & purposes, she NEEDED the money. You've even heard Clive say in interviews that he was AGAINST the tour. Generally, I believe almost NOTHING that comes out of his little mouth. But THAT, I believe. She mentioned in her Oprah interview that she'd begun selling all her properties... Houses & cars etc. I doubt that she was "literally" broke, as she was probably still quite considerably "asset" rich. However, due to the owing of creditors and her lifestyle over the years, she was probably "cash poor." Quite frankly speaking... Our Queen NEEDED that money. She knew, that on name alone, the crowds would turn out... even though she was quite aware that she could no longer vocally deliver the way she/they may have preferred. Truth? I'm a TRUE fan. I would've shown up for her even if she TALKED the whole show and didn't sing a NOTE. Those that walked out??? They weren't TRUE fans. They were just regular consumers who heard a big star. (Didn't matter who) was coming..... And expected a WORLD CLASS show. Us true fans respect her for the sheer work she's already given us. Showing up would've been the LEAST we could do to THANK HER for all she'd sacrificed/given all these years.... She did that for US! And when she did it, she did it WELL.... with no complaining. We OWE her such aa debt of gratitude. Yet some don't see it that way... as if she's GOD. She wasn't. She was HUMAN. It cost her SOOO much personal and private turmoil. But she STILL did it... For US. UNTIL she couldn't any longer. She didn't OWE us this tour. We owed HER this tour. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Thank you my beauty. Job WELL done. We LOVE YOU. Now... Rest in Jesus. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Ed Miller: That "crack ho" still sounds better than anyone out there today. The crack ho remark is disgusting. Of course that is par for the course for jealous Whitney haters like you who are jealous of her talent.
@alchap9695
@alchap9695 6 жыл бұрын
"Jealous, "envious," whatever, the fact is you are clearly hating on Whitney because you can't stand the fact that she was able to continue to be successful DESPITE her drug-related issues. Don't give me any of that bullshit about Bobby Brown's low-rated reality show about his non-existent (at that time) career. That proves nothing except Whitney was married to a narcissistic douchebag who was using her fame and fortune to try to make a comeback in the music industry. Second, a "crack ho" is someone who has to beg for crack. Whitney paid for her's(I wish she would have gotten help from someone who truly cared about her). You want to talk about crack hos and drug addicts, talk about Elvis Presley, Jim Morrison (of the rock group "The Doors"), Amy Winehouse, and Rob Lowe. They were all bigger drug addicts than Whitney ever was.Whitney wasn't the only one responsible for Bobbi Kristina's demise. Where was her father during all of this? After his divorce from Whitney, instead of staying in Bobbi Kristina's life, he decided to leave and go procreate with other women. Bobby Brown didn't do shit for Bobbi Kristina. His family and many of Whitney's family were just as trifling and absent as Bobby was. BK said that Whitney was like her best friend. Whitney and Cissy were really the only two family members that truly cared for BK, along with friends like the Winans and Kim Burrell. Pat Houston and Bobby's family are still trying to profit off Whitney's legacy.Your remark does not stand, except as a reminder of the blatant ignorance and hatred people like you have for those who may not live the kind of purist lives you want them to. Your remark is the remark of an ignoramus who would rather attack Whitney out of hatred instead of appreciate the music she gave us. The hatred people like you have is part of the reason why so many great talents like Whitney don't survive very long.

It seemed like she was definitely on the right track until the well documented troubles on that world tour 😞 Does anyone know what really went wrong during that 6 or so months following this? I know she caught bronchitis at one point, but it seems like after a period of getting it all together in 2009 she went through hell in 2010. We know she could not sing well and even her speaking voice was in tatters. She did not look healthy like she does here. 18 months later she was gone, bless her. R.I.P. Nippy

Lord, she is so greatly missed. The wonderful thing about her among many was the fact she made her fans feel as if they knew her on a personal level. When the media publicized her struggles it never took away from the core of who she was. Just a wonderful woman who deeply loved God and her family. The only consolation with her tragic loss is the belief that she found the peace that had eluded her for so long. And she finally found the greatest love of all in the arms of God. I pray that she and Bobbi Kris are together once again experiencing the love of one another in the presence of a loving and merciful God.

I remember watching this back in the day and as much as I loved her comeback (album) I was worried sick for her. She looked so tired and burnt out and I feel she was pushed into this project (perhaps too soon?). Also whoever did her dentures and veneers should be sacked for her tongue constantly seems to stumble over an edge or something. "You know what I am saying?" I loved Whitney so much but like so many other incredible talents, she could not be saved from the pressures of her own fame. So sad and unfortunate but I think the real big stars often die young as if it was a "badge of honour". RIP Nippy! ♥ Thank you for the music!

lol, her tongue was never severed off, lol. The back of her soft palate was cut from playing with a hangar. She had stitches, it healed, end of story.

Ed Miller omg I thought it was me I'm like did the drug use cause her to have to have her teeth replaced? I hated those new veneers they ultered the way she spoke even her natural smile was different they really did make her look totally different the youthfulness was definitely gone she started to look old and tired

@@SylviaS_0 doubt it. In her autopsy report it said she had dental implants. So it wouldn't be like dentures were you can take them off and back on

She didnt let it happen. She made it happen. She Said to Oprah that she used drugs to Put herself down, to not be in Spotlight anymore. All she wanted was a normal life, raise her child with pride And love And us, the fans, didnt let her have It. Drugs was way beyond her Control, unlike her belief.
