Whitney was always down with god, she never had to "get right". Unfortunately her belief in an afterlife, most likely attributed alot to her neglecting not only herself physically, but her art/career as well.

She was 48 years old here and looking better than most 20 year old models idgaf what anybody says. Edit: I do recognize that Whitney's teeth were fake because of her drug abuse, however, I still think she looked great at nearly 50. It's too bad she couldn't stop her addiction to drugs. Drugs are bad period.

+Rebe Riv It's an illusion. I've seen so many pics and videos of her prior to this, just looking haggard, looking very different to this vid. She had some hard living that's for sure!! She does look great here it's true, but that's got to be down to makeup and the usual gloss, good lighting etc. She sounds bloody awful as per usual. It's a shame because she would have aged beautifully and gracefully were it not for the drugs. She had wonderful genes. She just ruined herself with drugs :/

It wouldn’t have been WTE2. It would’ve been a sequel to the first film and it would’ve been called, Getting to Happy. If the others wanted to do the film, Vanessa Williams could’ve played Savannah. Both talented singers and actresses, and Vanessa was a few months older than Whitney.

I've heard the the lady that Written the book say that if Whitney wouldn't have past they would have, they only wanted only Whitney an no other actress so there you have it. I agree it would have been great to see the sequel bc robin was pregnant with Leon's character child, an Bernadine coming from divorce , an dating a married man, an etc so much suspense, drama, romance. From watching Whitney in the bodyguard an preachers wife, and cinderella with Brandy, I really liked her sassy attitude in Waiting to exhale as Savannah. An the new Sparkle was really a great film.

She is stunning at every age in her life. Natural beauty. I know this is sad but, I saw a program called autopsy and the coroner goes over her autopsy and talks about it in detail. I believe she was sober here and as long as she used drugs for I’m sure it probably fucked with her dopamine receptors and it was harder to feel pleasure since it can take a long time for dopamine to replenish after long term drug use. I’m sure that could have caused her some depression. But to me she seemed in pretty great spirits here and much healthier despite the lung and voice damage from years of cigarette smoking. I think Whitney gave her greatest acting performance in "Waiting to Exhale" (1995)! She should have been nominated for Best Actress at the Oscars, for that particular film, in my opinion. I think her second greatest acting performance was in "The Bodyguard" (1992). I found her acting chemistry with Kevin Costner to be fantastic! I wished they would have performed together in other movies. I am interested in watching her last acting performance in "Sparkle" (2012).

I didn't know about her deroute and was looking forward the a new album she was going to release. It came to me as many others as a big shock. And I still feel sorry for her. She gave all she had and she will always be one of the greatest singers of all times. I really miss her.

Idc Idc Whitney was not on drugs anymore the body language is different, her tone is different her posture is different, she's calm, gained a little weight and making 48 look gorgeous asf. Her strength is glowing! They killed her and they framed it. Now if she would've died during the time the drugs were obvious I would've believed the shitty lies on how she died. There's no way they can make me believe she did this to herself. Everybody knew of Whitney and the drugs so they used that as the excuse for the result of her death. @@whitneysource Oh, hi! I'm just now seeing this. Yes, and it was very exciting. Especially since she was the celebrity most of the extras were waiting for. First time I saw her, it was for a scene we did in a big auditorium, and everybody clapped, just because she showed up on set (would you believe someone was actually crying?). She had no makeup on and looked super young. Not gaunt or hollow-faced like people thought she was at the Michael Jackson ceremony in NY. Her face was healthy and plump looking. She looked good. I just remember her grabbing the makeup lady (who was famous in her own right) and ran with her, out of the seating area. It was comical. Later, I had gone to the restroom, and I passed her by on the way back as she sat on the steps, eating a small bag of plain potato chips (Detroit has the best chips 😁). Based on media reports, she didn't sound approachable, and I had already had a terrible experience with another popular artist from Whitney's golden era, so I didn't want to say anything. She had a look on her face that seemed to say she didn't want to be bothered, either. But someone else I talked to said she spoke to her, so I'm glad that another extra found her friendly.
