I remember this same interview, except it was with a guy. I can imagine how tired she was of doing interviews, hours on end being asked the same questions and touring non stop.

Lol. Whitney was not from the projects. But her family home, like even the nicest areas of NYC and New Jersey, is never far from the projects. But there ain't nothing about Whitney aside from the drugs that was hood.

Yeah, she straight up lied about that. She always felt the need to play to black people ever since they booed her at the soul train awards. She wanted to be accepted by them so bad and they never supported her. I believe marrying Bobby Brown was an attempt to be accepted as well.

Right, even in Cissy Houston’s book she even said she never understand why Whitney always stated she was from her hood which was far away from what it is, she grew up in a nice house with a pool and even went to a private school so most definitely Whitney really felt the need to be relatable by most black growing up with hardships… which is kinda sad in a way just be be accepted.

Whitney was affected by her community, she knew what was going on in the streets and she understood her country very well. She tried to reach everyone through her music. RIP Peace to Whitney, and much love to her.🙏🏽👑🌹💐❤️🎶🔥

@@stephenfolds822 Whitney experienced the Afro community daily. Whitney’s mother and her entire maternal family came from very humble beginnings. Her family was the streets; they knew all the gossip. Whitney and Bobbi Kristina might gain eternal life. I love Whitney and her lovely daughter; regardless of their weaknesses they struggled with. May Whitney and Bobbi Kristina rest in peace.🙏🏽💕🌹💐

Does anyone know if that movie was made without her

What was that film she was talking about with Will Smith? I'm guessing it got shelved because we never heard anything more about it. I'm also curious about the girl group Sunday, did they make it? I've never heard of them but going to look them up because if Whitney said they could sing, that meant they could SING.

robyn wrote about sunday in her book. nothing came out of it.

whitney and will smith signed a contract to do a romantic comedy together in 1998, the movie was scheduled to release in 1999 but whitney was forced on tour, so it was pushed back to 2000, but with the tabloid rumours and whitney’s inconsistencies with showing up to scheduled appearances made the project fade apart.
