The singer in this video is Brenda Fassie from South Africa. she died back in 2001. She was South Africa's very own diva and legend like Whitney Houston. To add, she also was addicted to crack and marijuana. she died of asthma. she never quit smoking even when she had serious asthma attacks and drank heavy as well.

I don't believe Whitney practiced lesbianism with multiple women. She only loved one. I have not heard of her having relations with any other woman except Robyn. She was not a P hound like some lesbians are. She genuinely fell for a woman and I'm sure because of her convictions and career that had to be hard. All of this really blew my mind. I honestly didn't believe the rumors back then and dismissed it all together. And here I am now almost 40 yrs later finding out it was all true. She was a Beautiful Gifted kind Human Being, who evidently had drg issues that her Family and other insiders continued to hide many yrs, even allowed blame focused towards anyone besides Whitney, until there was no hiding it,and by doing so caused the destruction of her beautiful Voice and the end of her life..No it was The Family responsibility to step in and get her the help that was so def needed many yrs ago without even a 2nd thought on whether the world foundout if thats what it would have taken to try to save her...So why didnt they, afraid of tarnishing whitney image, embaressment or could it been the money lost from canceled Tours inorder to get her the Help needed early on..Or was Whitney seen as the Cash Cow by many and the $$$ won out as the first priority...what other explanation could the Family or insiders have,to allow drgs to ravage her until all those photos taken of her and trashed bathroom showing the drg use by her splashed across front pages of rags mags and brought the attn of the entire world to come down on her when she had reached her worse..Unbelieveable.

Actually they were madly in love it seems and it lasted for years. Believe me after learning more about Whitney since the announcement of her passing and years that have passed. She was literally in love with Robyn. I heard these rumors when I was a young teen back in the early 80's but didn't believe them nor give them any thought until recently I have learned differently. And as much as she loved her she sacrificed that love for what she believed in and it blew up in her face. I can only imagine how devastating it was for her. Trying to do the right thing because of your faith only to find that things don't always work out as we plan. I'm not saying she continued her sexual desires for Robyn after what appears to be many years before Robyn left but it was at least 2 yrs. But it was most likely more until she married Bobby Brown. It wasn't a fling between these two. They were in love.
