My insurance pays for mine but only during a 3 year window. Basically have to wait 3 years to replace the prescription one I have now. As a result I bought an eargo as a back up. It works for me happy with both

What my experience is from insurance companies, is that Blue Cross and Blue Shield Care First practically paid for my hearing aids. I wasn't expecting this at all. BCBS was really awesome when I purchased the right prescription hearing aids for me.
