it was only after i took psilocybin and experienced ego death that i made this connection with the film. it quite literally felt like a white rabbit led me down a hole, and slowly i fell, and realized everything i thought i was and knew wasn’t necessarily me. what was me is a puzzle, that can be known and put together at times, but although i am ever changing there is an essence of me(ness) as mentioned, that i just cannot out into language. i don’t know if anyone can. maybe that’s what makes us human

If I was not me, then how can I remember being me? But if I am me, then how can I remember being me, doesn't remembering being someone inevitably implies becoming someone else? If I am thinking about myself, then there should a common self between the two me to enable me to do so, otherwise the distinction between the thinker and object of thinking would be absolute and make the thought impossible. But if I think about the common self, I will need another common self due to the same reason. This has to continue infinitely. But if I have infinite number of common selves of me, how can there be different selves of me? It's like Xeno's paradox, fundamental in nature. At the heart of existence, there are paradoxes. Maybe every "thing" is actually thoughts.

But what are thoughts? ... you see it doesn’t matter what conclusion you THINK you come to... you cane never actually conclude because reality contradicts itself which leaves the individual just as confused as they started if not even more so because now there are more factors or variables or ‘thoughts’ that add to the flame of confusion... every defined and known ‘thing’ that is observed within the universe can only be explained, defined, perceived within the means of the ability to explain and define and perceive...those means are alphabetical letters/characters/symbols ... the indoctrination to any alphabet system is essentially a prison for the mind... the program for the software to operate the computer... the code that allows the robot to perform the desired function... essentially animating a dead corpse!

@@camerontaylor7471 I do not see any logical structure in your comment, really sorry to say. As far as I understand, there is no contradiction between alphabets and understanding reality. Yes we do not and cannot know absolute truth, or if there is such a thing, that is not an alphabetical issue. Also, what you said is what you think, so claiming that thought is meaningless is self contradictory. Just my personal opinion. No offence is intended.

Remembering yourself in the past doesn't necessarily imply a continuous self that observes them. Ill try to explain, a thought about the past pops up in the present moment. It's just popping up, the only thing that says there's a you is a thought that pops up in the present. It could be that all there is is what's observed, like its all just here, including you. Im not saying this is true and I know this but rather, showing another possibility that just shows we really dont know anything for sure at all.
