I LOVE that you are both 'foodies' - I can totally relate to your relationship with beautiful authentic Asian food - I am a fan too! Wow, thank you! Cheryl. it's so lovely for your kind words. We are Huge foodies and always looking for our next meal haha. We just a average couple who work and enjoy travel. (especially Matt on a budget). Stay tuned we are planning some new adventures and it will have plenty of food as we are always hungry when there is exotic food about. We were in Bali last week,we contacted you and you confirmed that Two Bob shoes took credit cards.thanks for that we went with a shopping list which was great as they had watched your video and taken screen shots,so lucky also that we were helped by Josh in the shop,spent a time with us chatting.they have your video stickers stuck on the counter.should of taken a photo. Also went to the perfume shop and a couple of others you have visited. We had a driver and vehicle for 10 hours $55.gave him a list of the shops and addresses made everything so easy,we were going back in February but have changed it now for May. Only thing that would be a great help in the videos is can you confirm if the shops take card or cash only.

We are members of Accor vacation so stayed at an apartment at Novotel Nusa Dua.ate at the resort.my best meal there was Satay Campur,very authentic.when we go back next year in May we are staying one or two nights in Legian,any recommendation on a good authentic meal in Legian,we may also spend a couple of days in Ubud,any restaurants there also to try. We found no negatives with Bali.and fixed price shopping is the go

It's nice to listen to your little story and get to know more about you guys. Dun worry, the video editing is great and your garden is absolutely beautiful...! Whenever Matt mentions the words "Good Value" or Bec mentioned the word "Food", it always makes me laugh, that's because I know you guys genuinely love it and honestly speaking, I like the way you guys traveled and do pretty much agreed with the "Good Value" and "Good Food" you guys had in mind. In your video, everything just seems very genuine and has a natural flow to it, like when I'm hearing you telling your story, I dun feel like I'm watching a video at all...I got all engrossed in your story, like I'm listening to actual friends telling me about it. I dun feel like guys are trying to impress me or sell me something. That's what makes me love you guys in the first place. Hi Catherine, Thank you for your kind words. As to what we use, We started with a DJI OSMO action 3 video camera (There is a action 4 out now) , Good but struggled at night and bright lights, due to the sensor on the camera, So we upgraded to a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 (great video camera for blogging - Recommended, We bought the creator combo pack) comes with wireless mic and better sensor.than action 3. Stayed away from using phone as we use phone for day to day usage while in Bali. (didn't want hassle trying to juggle to try and use it for both) As for editing , i am just self taught (thanks to youtube) and use a free program called Capcut ( Its same company that owns tiktok) and find its pretty good. Theres some great tutorials on using that editing program. Hope this helps. Thanks for feedback

Question about travel insurance. I am assuming Matt has a full Australian bike licence, but I am just wondering about travel insurance for Bec as a pillion passenger? I am having trouble getting accurate advice for the passenger. I have a full bike licence and always get an international driving/riding permit no matter where I travel to. You just never know when you might need it

Great question, Yes Matt has Aust open bike license , To be fair we might need to check up on that ourselves but this is what i believe, We take out unlimited medical and most policies offer high risk activities (Scooter) and our both names are under that policy so we would be covered if we have taken high risk or what ever they call it to cover scooter riding. Long as your doing the right thing (helmet,Proper license , no alcohol drugs if any incident happens ) That's my belief in how i read it but could be wrong. Hope this helps. We shuffle around on insurance but over the years have used Insure & go, Allianz , Budget direct - Always take basic for unlimited medical - and then buy the add ons for high risk scooter. @@BecMattAdventures That was my understanding as well. We get complimentary insurance if we spend at least $500 on holiday costs like flights from our HSBC credit card. It is covered by Allianz so I will make further inquiries with them. But yes it's an important issue that people need to be aware of. We see too many people get into trouble.
