Teron Gorefiend will always be one of my favorite lore figures in WoW. such an awesome concept of placing the souls of the shadow councils elites in to the bodies of human knights. Orcs in Human vessels. such twisted fate. Shame Blizzard didnt do much with the concept of soul displacement other than for Terons story :(

I’m about halfway through writing the Karazhan and Zul’Aman episodes. ZA will drop when the raid does on TBC Classic, Kara before or after that. Will continue onto Sunwell and then Wrath afterward, with other raids I’ve missed dotted along the way. Some raids and bosses really have a decent amount of lore and a story to tell, some are completely skint. So it’s likely that some episode lengths will vary wildly

I did originally have a bit about book in the script! Specially for the Reliquary of Souls, below is the cut transcript. “In the Illidan novel, during the demon hunters invasion of Outland he would travel to Auchindoun. His goal was to siphon the souls of the dead draenei to generate a portal to Argus, the demon’s base of operations. The Reliquary of Souls is never mentioned as such, but considering the strong link between souls siphoning and empowerment it’s quite possibly the device used by Illidan.”

I did have a very rough draft for karazahn and I was looking into Icecrown Citadel as well. The main issue I ran into is that many bosses are filler, with no real lore or greater context outside of the fight itself. If you look at the Zul’Aman video I did in this style you might get an idea of what I mean. Black Temple had quite a few noteworthy inclusions (Gorefiend and Akama for instance) as well as having lots of good quests and story surrounding the place itself. I appreciate your feedback though, I’ll keep it in mind going forward. (:
