Moving on to your second comment, biology is more important than geography and culture to determine a group's genetic makeup. Hence, I respectfully disagree with your statement. Most modern-day Finns cluster with the other Northern European populations according to the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) test. The Saami and Udmurts, for instance, are ~25% East Asian (Siberian), yet phenotypically, they look more European than your average South Italians. For mixed individuals, regardless of their culture, this depends entirely upon what race they are mixed with. Culture is external, and it comes from the expression of the inherent element, that is genes. Anyone can emulate another group's culture to some extent. But, they will never emulate another group's genes. It's something inherent and immutable. Thus, they will never be able to emulate it. Genes, along with the other factors that a group's genes have expressed, should be the determining factors to determine a group's identity.

There are several million Circasians in Turkey and they constitute the largest minority group in modern Turkey. They are not native to the region. They are from North Caucasus region. When the native Christians were being uprooted from their homelands in Asia Minor, the Circasians were being transplanted in their place. It is a known fact that the majority of white People including all the Iranic people(Ossetians, Kurds, Pashto, Persians, Tajiks,) Tocharians and North Indians (Nepalis, Bengalis, Hindis, Pubjabs, Pakistanis.) are the descendants of nomadic tribes from the north Caucasus, and the Yamnaya are one of these tribes whose genetic influence spans all across Europe. The Ossetians and Aemenians literally are of indo-European Caucasoid origin. Armenians are a isolated group of indo Europeans and Ossetians are part of the Iranic family. The closest language relative to Armenian itself is the Greek Language. But even those people are pretty intermixed with Indo Europeans. So European whites are still of Caucasian origin.

Growing up, I was taught that the term Caucasian meant not only white people in Europe but the people around the Mediterranean, through the Middle East, Mesopotamia, and on through the Indian subcontinent. OK, now we all have mixed quite a bit. But in pre-history, I think indeed races did evolve. This is because of natural barriers: mountain ranges, deserts, vast jungles, oceans, etc. These barriers reduce genetic contact between populations on either sides, which in turn allows for independent evolution of those populations. So, we had/have at least 3 race populations: 1) Sub-saharan Africans (barrier: the Sahara desert and whatever was there before it became a desert) 2) West Eurasians (barrier = the Himalaya mountain range) 3) East Eurasians (barrier = the himalayas) If this doesn't make sense, please convince me otherwise?
