am i the only one that hates how every driver is talked about outside of Theo Pourchair? he won it with 18 year over 3 years younger then Piastri and was head to head with him in F3 while being over 4 years younger. but somehow everybody gets picked before him wtf

It took him 3 years to win it. That's not ideal. Also, he's been test/reserve for Sauber for a while now. If he was really that good, they would have brought him in already. Adding to that he went to Indycar and didn't really do much there. My guess is he probably is good but not lighting it up in an F1 car hence why hes just floating around but not getting any opportunities.

Daniel is definitely done. However, there is a small chance if Perez keeps failing hard and Lawson doesn't do any good, Ricciardo might have to come in as Max's team-mate. Horner just confirmed that on the F1 podcast. I don't wish bad on anyone, but fuck I would love to see Danny Ric in the RBR even if it was just for one race. I have no doubt he would perform better in the RBR, rather than the RB, just simply because of the fact it suits his driving style more, and he will be highly motivated racing for wins and podiums again. I think he suffers a bit from the fact he's only fighting for P10's in the RB.

@3:40 Marko has refuted this comment by arguing the announcement was done after Singapore for commercial reasons (i.e. sponsor agreements that had to be fulfilled). Marko has stated Daniel "was informed in good time" (prior to Singapore), hence the interviews Daniel gave, the fastest lap, and the driver guard of honor.

Yea one off from nyck at the easiest track they jumped the gun with de vries, colapinto performed at two of the toughest tracks on the calendar nd is matching albon, nyck was up against latifi who was shit, in that one race. But theres more races to go to judge how good colapinto is so well see

Lawson did not do better than Colapinto in F3 (11°&5° for Lawson vs 9°&4° for Franco), but Liam did great in his 2nd season in F2 (3rd) but Franco never did a F2 full season In F1, Franco did just a tiny bit better than Lawson in his 3 first races (12, 8, 11 for Franco vs 13, 11, 9 for Lawson), but it is very close I think is gonna be great to see them both racing this last part of the season and proove themselves in the racetrack
