Another neat detail is that the blade is a triangular shape. Triangle shaped blades are more harmful when stabbing, compared to a flat blade, as triangular blades are easier to drive into flesh, and do a lot of damage when twisted within the enemy's body. This tracks since it has the highest crit damage in the game.

My only gripe, is that all of these different groups we experience in the game including the mohgwyn dynasty, aren't nearly fleshed out enough and their environments aren't even like cities. Would have been cool if you could pick factions to ally with.

Would have been cool if the factions were kinda like previous covenants in DS games. Like the Warriors of Sunlight, Way of Blue, Blade of the Darkmoon, etc. I was actually really surprised to not have that sort of mechanic in Elden Ring, because of its prevalence in gameplay in previously titles, as well as how many factions and how fleshed out they are in terms of Lore.

Fun fact, before about 1890 surgeons would often wear aprons that were so saturated with the blood of their "patients" (victims) that very often it was described they could stand on their own. It wasn't until almost a turn of the century that in single surgeon pioneered modern sterilization and cleanliness procedures. Could be in homage to that.

yeah. get the two halves of the haligtree medallion, one from albus the albinauric and the other from commander niall. put them together and go to the grand lift of Rold, use the two halves to "hoist secret medallion" and fight your way through the hidden path to the haligtree, and when you exit the dungeon you will be in the consecrated snowfield. then you just go through the mohgwyn portal
