WOW support a hefty list of anti-Israeli NGOs. While Women of the Wall has built up a name for themselves as a feminist organization promoting women’s rights in Israel, their leadership in fact have links to anti-Israel groups that not many people know about. 2013 - Women of the Wall Vice Chair Batya Kallus served as an adviser to Sikkuy, a signatory to the Haifa Declaration calling for the abolishing of the State of Israel.

It’s simple, the Rabbis of each generation have kept the laws of the Torah alive not only the written but as well as the oral law. We must respect the laws not only to keep the integrity of the Torah but as well as it’s honor that was given through father and son. To have such a defiant act against the Rabbis who are the representatives of god in this world not only in Israel but in Jerusalem not only is a provocation for disaster but it completely destroys and disarrays the sanctity of Gds holy name. We must completely cut these types of behaviors in a public manner to save future generations from confusion so that our future generation understand the truth behind the Torah and we should be grateful that our laws has been preserved because it is the heart beat and back bone of the Jewish people. That we may never forget the toil and sacrifice our ancestors face to keep it to live it and to hand it down and we today are responsible for our own futures.

The Talmud is NOT the Torah. Talmud is tradition and man's interpretation of the Torah as given to and delivered by Moshe. Torah is YHWH's law. There's a difference. Read the Torah for yourself WITHOUT the interference and influence of man's doctrines and traditions.
@deborahfreedman333 Жыл бұрын
Kol Isha is a sexist and stupid idea. Can you not understand the frustration of people, who love HaShem every bit a much as males, but are not allowed to fully express that love, and pray fully? It hurts nobody for women to wear telfinnin and tallit. Nor is anyone hurt when women raise their voices in prayer. If men are too distracted, because of their lust, when women are observed, that is the men's fault. Women should not be punished, and forbidden full prayer, because men can't control themselves.
@M1grand- Жыл бұрын
The Guemara and it’s ways was given and handed down father to son all the way back to Moshe Rabeinu it is the instructions for the laws that we follow. May our ways be preserved and may it persevere against the evil among our midst and may the will and blessing of the almighty including having peace in our land be among our people as well for the strangers who dwell in them who are not our adversaries and who do not wish us harm. I have a everlasting respect for our rabbis in every generation because they kept our laws alive and preserved them and who does not shame on u.

The Kotel has been a magnet for many crazy people and instead of a historic, spiritual, meaningful place for all Jews...it just attracts whackos from all sides. I have not been to the Kotel in over ten years and when I see how people act to each other, I have not missed it at all.

It isn't just the Reform and Reconstructionist movements, that have done away with the medieval practice of forbidding kol isha. Conservative Jews are also egalitarian. And, further, if Israel was more tolerant of nonorthodox Judaism, and gave it the same support it does the orthodox synagogues, she would discover fewer citizens would be secular. Many Israelis are also turned off by the misogyny of orthodoxy, but would be willing to pray if families could be together. BTW The orthodox should realize many Jews are repulsed by the mechitza, by the Kotel, which didn't exist for most of history.

But there is nothing in Torah that forbids women to wear tallit or tefillin. He says outside the framework. A framework created by male rabbis in a time of misogyny. It's disgusting. Chassidim fight between courts. Orthodoxy reviles progressive Judaism without realising that everything evolves. Judaism did not stop evolving in Poland in the 18th century but to look at Charedi and Chassidic Judaism you would think so. We do not worship as we did after Sinai fcol. Gut Shabbes
