Danzo was responsible for planting the seeds that ruined Nagato and Kabuto's lives. While he wasn't the one who completely corrupted them (it was Obito for Nagato and Orochimaru for Kabuto), his plans initiated everything. Nagato went on to completely destroy the Leaf Village and Kabuto summoned an army of zombie shinobi, including Madara, to fight the entire world. GOOD JOB, DANZO!

Even in the second and third wars I am not sure he ever even got out of the Village since there wasn't even a single mention of him. He is someone fearful to die to the extreme, just look at how many Sharingan he has on him just to live longer

@@flockaveli15 Certainly, he is only suitable to work in the dark and away from actual combat. The problem was Hiruzen not properly controlling him and letting Danzou do as he pleases so much as to not need to get his hands dirty. Hiruzen wanted to be a kind hero too much and Danzou wanted power too much, if not how could Konoha fall so hard after the wars? You can see, none of Konoha's heroes died during the wars, but they all died during piece or ran away during piece time. What is this if not the stellar work of Hiruzen and Danzou?

Both of them risk their life to help the village, but didn't get anything return. The more intel they gathed, the closer to their death. Crazy thing is, Danzo staged this on the very first day they signed up this mission.

Agreed his backstory is more sad and more deep then most characters in Naruto Like Naruto's backstory : I don't have parents but I will become hokage Dattebayo!! Kabuto is like: I don't have parents my mother was everything to me and konoha killed her.even when she helped them, she didn't even remember me.. so who am I. (He lost his identity and his hatred to konoha grew) he is one of my best characters by my opinion

When you think about it if Danzo didn't do this to Kabuto , Kabuto would've never turned evil and the war would've ended way sooner cause obito didn't intend to revive madara so madara would've stayed dead and obito would've been defeated and everything would've gone well.

@@xTheParadox99 Yea except Kabuto and Orochimaru's work is the only thing that allowed the reanimation jutsu that was the purpose for the war arc along with the white zetsus. Orochimaru would've never worked with Black Zetsu, and Kabuto only did it cause Orochimaru was gone, atleast he thought. Without the reanimations , they would've continued to stomp white zetsus and many wouldn't have died to Madara or the many OP shinobi. Obito was going to betray Madara and without Madara being there because of Kabuto no one would've stopped him.

Its sad because at first he was only a lonely boy without parents than after killing his "mother" he went to orichimaru making everything he say And than after orichimaru's "Dead" he wanted to become orichimaru and gained his abilitys but at the end he never followed his own way he never though about who he is luckily in boruto he finnaly managed to be himself :D

However to make sure they fought for real, he manipulated Mother into thinking the real Kabuto was someone else. In the end, having been essentially betrayed be the person he loved the most and then having that person not recognise him made him snap and question his identity. It is quite tragic actually
