Sandeul's technique is actually a bit better though. His vibratos are healthy, whereas Chen's often comes from the larynx. And Sandeul's runs are more precise than Chen's. Overall, Sandeul has the better technique, but I agree, both of them are great!

Dongha, Hyoshin, Sandeul, and many of the SM artists are good, Rockhyun, Seungkwan, DK and Eunkwang were really good too. Naul was great, along with Taemin! A lot of the others were straining. Not all, but some were very obvious like my Vixx babies, Jungkook, Henry, Youjin, NCT's Taeil. I hope the strainers learn to support for their health, and longevity in singing.

EXIDek his clip doesn't fit with the others. You have singers showing top skill, amazing performances like Onews... & then you have Jungkook. It actually looks bad on him when compared to the others. Like you're showing the Allstar team & here's Jungkook with the participation medal. Not saying the boy doesn't have talent but that clip shows him no where near the level that the others are. I'm all for BTS getting recognition where it's due like rap or dance but for list of "Best Belting A4" & he's barely singing anything really looks like a biased view. Just my opinion of course.

DaeDreaming if anything, him only having phrased A4's only shows him in a better light, since by hitting it lightly and quickly he's minimizing vocal strain, compared to if he were to sustain it. he's not the least talented vocalist here at all, and a lot of singers in the video are hitting the A4's with a whole lot more tension & strain than he is (e.g. Leo, TVXQ Changmin) But I get that his clip stands out because it's not sustained, but that's not a bad thing for him at all

Park Hyo Shin, Kyuhyun, Lee Hyuk, Chen, Changmin, Onew, Hyukjin Taemin, Taewoo, Eungkwan and Hwanhee. I love VIXX but they're technique needs work. It was good there but it isn't always. I based mine off vibrato, pitch, face tension, and throat tension. They all had a really nice sound with a beautiful vibrato and their sound wasn't pinched if at all when it came to the other idols. Also, the others looked like they were having anyerisms.

For some reason my favorites are Sanduel and Jaehwan, like the tone of their vocals. Sanduel I watched on Immortal Songs first, could not believe how his vocals were. Then I found Jaehwan on God's Voice, what an amazing singer he won that competition just a powerful singer also. I do believe all these singers go out of their comfort zone sometimes, so if they don't do this constantly and have a good support system they could last many years. But we all have our preference in these amazing singers, so to me one is not a better singer than the other just different taste that fans like. So let's support them all.

Sandeul and Chen were the best in my honest opinion. I know I’ll probably get hate for this but a lot of really popular groups just don’t have the technique to back it up. BTS is the first one that comes to mind tbh. Jungkook is a prime example of having a great voice with terrible technique. Don’t get me wrong though, it’s not his fault, he was just (probably) never taught correct vocal technique and that can be difficult to correct later. EXO is the exception though, their vocalists (Chen, Baekhyun, Kyungsoo) they have really good technique but it’s kinda sad that having good technique is rare now...

@@Ssankhya He isn't looking to improve his technique, because for the style of music BTS sings currently, he doesn't have to. I think it is a honest and fair assessment. He isn't a powerhouse vocalist, and he has some bad habits that he has developed, but as long as BTS doesn't change their style, then he can keep going the way he is going. However if they do start mixing up their musical style (which a lot of groups do as they get older) then he might have problems fixing these habits.

Jazzy 3120 it was belted indeed, but it also was really strained and not properly done. that's the difference between strain and support, singers with a supporting/sustained voice are able to deliver the high note cleanly and from the diaphragm. jungkook is just one many of the examples of idols who strain their voices to reach into higher tones, which could be dangerous for their vocal chords. not hating, he has a pretty voice, but there's a range where he's good at, and then there's a range where he's just pushing himself out of the comfort zone.

Sandeul, Chen, D.O., Onew, and Taewoo had the most solid, longest held, consistent, and well supported A4's in the whole group, for my vote. Some of them had problems finding the notes, some hit it for a second only, others wavered with the pitch while they held it, or the note was thin and weak. Actually the guy that sang after Chen, I did a pitch comparison and it didn't sound like he even hit the same note as all the rest. Not sure he should have been included. Interesting compilation. It really shows the wide variety of singing styles and vocal tones that span Kpop.

Both Seventeen's DK & Seungkwan are really good but at 5:35 it sounds weird because you cut at the moment when he was reaching a higher note so it sounds like if he's struggling 😂 but thanks for including them 😊
