Just for clarity: Yes, I removed certain comments in reference to Fred Kerley. I don't mean anything to those who left the comments, but it's out of respect for the situation. A note that earlier this week I had already scheduled this video to be released today (same time I released the 100m world predictions as this is from that same conversation). Thanks for watching and appreciate ya for understanding 💯 Also, no, I wont be making a video about Fred Keley's current situation🙏🏾

I have CC, Fred, and Trayvon. I think that kenny will have a good race that day but wont be fast enough yet for the 9.76 runners because im expecting for all of them to be in prime form again. Trayvon will be a wild card but I think his indoor season will make or break in terms of public opinion. Unfortunately (without getting into it) Fred is also a wild card now so we'll just have to hope he will be okay. I trust coleman's coaching switch enough to be confident in him more than any other US athlete right now to make the team.
@kpat305257 минут бұрын
Fred has a challenge. That dude will be fine. That situation does not make him a wildcard. Trayvon has a long road back post injury/surgery. We have to see where he is because he has been struggling for the last several years and will not be at his previous form. Kenny has been super consistent. He will be there before Brommell.

Me personally. If Fred didn't take any major physical injuries. I doubt it'll effect him. Mentally I think he'll be fine, because he's got that dog in him. Plus it's Jan. If he did get hurt, I'm sure he'd have enough time to recover before the season starts assuming he's not doing indoors.

Regardless of times/making a US Team, more important to see guys who keep getting injured just come back in '25 & have a full season w/o hopefully breaking down again; Trayvon, Ronnie, Marvin, Cravont, Eli, Micah & Terrance. Based on the '24 season in terms of realistically being able to cause an upset to Fred, Kenny & CC, only really looking at Courtney Lindsey & Christian Miller as being able to do that. Another qn is will all 4 Men who end up going to Tokyo end up making the new 9-Lane 100m Final?! Feel more confident with that happening in the 200m Final than the 100m Final!
@TheFinalLegКүн бұрын
Completely forgot about Eli Hall. Man he has so much talent and I think could really be in the mix if he is able to get healthy. Trayvon is the ultimate wild card in that, if healthy, he could beat everyone at USAs. Regarding Tokyo, I think it depends on who makes the team. If its Kenny, Coleman, Fred and Noah, I would have more confidence on them all making the final, vs if Lindsey or Miller made the team. Simply because thoes 4 know how to run rounds and get to the final, regardless if they medal or not. For example, I would hypothetically say Coleman has a 75% chance of making the USA 100m team, but I would say he has a 85-90% chance of making the 100m final. But to your point, the 100m is so deep in the world that someone fast is getting left out. What would be interesting is if a Jamaican wins the DL this year, gets a wild card and we see something 4 JA and 4 US in the final. Its VERY unlikely but that image would be crazy since I think London 2012 was the last time a full 2 squads made the 100m final, but that was only 3 each.

Possibly Lindsey is probably the best shot to beat one of them or even Christian Miller, if someone like Bromell or any other American who’s been injured over the last couple of years is in good shape then they possibly could spoil the party. I doubt it though and it’ll most likely be (Lyles), Bednarek, Coleman and Kerley going to Tokyo!

Agree that Lindsey is likely the guys to break things up, along with Christian Miller being next best. Bromell is the wild card in that if he is healthy, he could mess around and beat everyone at USAs. But also, some NCAA kid can come up and do damage by the time USAs comes around. But there is a long gap of 4-5 weeks between NCAA championships to USA champs. So well see.

@AthleticsEditz You don’t know what you getting back with Bramwell after 2 years off. I don’t think Kerley going to Tokyo as a individual this time , believe Christian Coleman going to make up for missing his spot on the Olympic team.. The changing of camp specks volume towards his intention for this year.. Noah Lyles don’t have to go to trials because he have a wild card, so it’s going to be between Kenny and Coleman and a tast up between whoever..

CC is Over!!!!!! That debilitating finish officially got put on blast last year. Though if you go back and peep his last 2 World Champs 100 finals, there’s a clear pattern here. But it’s the 100. A comeback talent or NCAA upstart could easily take that 3rd spot behind Kerley & Kenny B.
@TheFinalLegКүн бұрын
Nah gotta disagree on this one about Coleman. He has struggled with his 2nd half, but maybe that's what moving to Dennis Mitchell will help him with. He's essentially training with stronger 200m guys now (Kenny, Courtney, Kyree) So well see. But even with him not making the team in 2024, he has been above the rest of the field so it will be hard to stop him. But your 100% right than and NCAA guys can come up and grab a spot. That's happened so many times over the last 10 years (2013 Charles Silmon, 2015 & 2016 Trayvon Bromell, 2017 Chris Belcher). So who knows!

Also, if by then he's still stuck in the 19.7s for the 3rd yr in a row, it's time to follow Talitha Diggs out of Gainesville (same for Fahnbulleh who hasn't run sub 20s in over 2.5yrs) & go join her in Gary Evans's Training Group!
