And Maeve barely survived it, seen it took a huge time for her to come back, with scars and bandages still being on her body. You could argue that Homelander is superior than Maeve in durability, but, the show itself shows that it isn't a huge advantage.

I think even if Johnny have his green power, he still lost. That whole green glow he had when he fight Shinnok has been confirm to be some sort of energy that can make natural born God weaker. It is basically a "Kryptonite" rip-off. Both Johnny and Cassie didn't truly surpass Shinnok like Liu Kang did back in MK4, they just weaken him. Is like how Batman can beat Superman with Kryptonite. In that case, Sub-Zero might prove problematic, as the body is comprised heavily of water and if memory serves, we only have vague confirmation that he can resist being frozen. I was going to bring up Rain in that same argument, but I had a thought and looking back confirmed it; Rain has no abilities or fatalities in mainline MK games where he syphons the water from someone's body. It's not Hanzo Hasashi from the past two timelines. If it was, then Homelander has no chance to beat that Scorpion, especially since the ninja wraith can just pull him straight into the Netherrealm. Telekinesis is not that strong. Sub zero broke through his telekinetic grasp with his human strength. Telekinesis is also confirmed to not work on Homelander, since his internal tissues are as durable. Hence Neuman cannot one-shot Homelander, and all that Kimiko’s brother’s telekinesis did to Homelander was to stall him with no real damage.

@@kingol4801 I’ve never seen the boys before but the feet with subzero was plot armor and for the sake of the story. Homelanders got a soul. Ermac has access to sindels screams and other MAGIC based abilities. Mk1 Ermac got it. I’m 50 percent certain Homelander has no magic resistance. And no resistance against soul based attacks.

I think you are missing a crucial point here that is: magic We know Homelander is immune to all the weapons on Earth but Outworld is filled with magic and we dont know how magic affect him. I doubt Vought made Homelander immune to magic so i think that many other characters could take him down. Rain could control the water in his body, Li Mei could blow him up, Ermac could steal his soul easily and so on

Would “Activate Sonic Boom” work against Homelander? I mean, it’s essentially a much much stronger version of the blast Black Noir tanked, Sonic Book stripped a Butterfly (Essentially a stronger version of a V-enhanced Human like Kimiko or Black Noir) down to the bone, Sonic Boom is what I think could make Peacemaker a “maybe” if he spams that enough, it will kill Homelander.

Like 75% of people in the DC and Netherrralm actually out feat all of Homelanders Verse including Homelander, yes this a new era but nothing really indicates that they are that much weaker than their original, intact due to the dual timeline stuff and the new era team standing out on top it's not Unreasonable to say they are stronger with Shangs Tsung beating dark era Shao Khan (did the Retcon that erra because he was from the previous time line) it is fair to say they are atleast relative level, so General Shao beats Homelander and probably Omni Man too. Kenshi stands a very good chance, as shown with the fight again queen maeve from the TV show, (with this Homelander being based on this ) he can be outskilled with people in his power range, and Kenshi definitely outspeeds him. Same with Raiden, out speeds Homelander being at least light spread, (his loves being based on lightning and we have seen him literally dodge lightning and move just as fast), the ninjas are the difficult ones to scale because apart scorpion has had alot of changed its difficult to guess whether he scales to himself but he managed to get away from general Shao through combat prowess and merked havok, so he is still a force to be reckoned with but his fire is definitely not hell fire unlike our original so might win, Sun Zero especially Bihan fam Homelander is actually finished with Bi Han doing shit affects weather on a country level, that is an interesting fight. Ahsrah Merks Havok I don't know enough about the character to make a judgement but stands a 50 50 Rain flooded an large city/country with his magic, that's 3.5e+14 tons of water assuming none of the buildings are more than 100 meters tall. That's an Omega Level feat that can even make storm look a likkle Jealous. and I don't think he is the premier sorcerer that title belongs to Shang Tsung, Qaun Chi, Shao Khan and Raiden (yes he knows Magic and is a good Magic User). So bit under estimation of Mortal Kombat New Error

What matters is that he wouldn’t be able to hit smoke at all if he’s fucking smoke 😭thats why reptile still probably loses. He can go invisible sure, but he’d probably sense him. Homelander wouldn’t be able to actually grasp Smoke though.

predictably gonna hard disagree with havik. sure he couldn't kill him his normal way, but havik's stupid regeneration doesn't give him the strength to hurt homelander. at the absolute best, every little thing going right for havik, he stalemates. 999/1000 times, homelander just throws him into space or drowns him or locks him in the vought oven or does a million other things to ice him rather than physical damage. keep in mind that havik's powers literally come from quan chi, if he can just outheal anything homelander has to offer, then so could QC, or any other proficient sorcerer. havik's regen is a borrowed party trick that mortals would see as invincibility, he's absolutely nothing special in the series

Objection to Mileena and Rain jobbing out to Homelander since Mileena fought a version of Dark Raiden and WON and Rain has a feat taking out an entire city all by himself, which greatly dwarfs all of the on-screen feats we've seen from The Boys so far. Reiko is also arguable on the results since he (somehow) took on Onaga and tamed him but considering we don't know how powerful Onaga is in this timeline yet, that one is up to if you think Onaga is as strong as he was in the first timeline.

Shang Tsung most definitely has a very high chance to beat all of the cast imo His cunning, deviousness, as well as morphing ability which can copy entire abilities from an opponent, plus the fact that he can absorb someone's literal soul makes him a godlike threat. Imagine Homelander or Omni Man with the intelligence of Shang Shung. That's game, set and match right there. Even if everything else fails through research and experimentations, he could find a potential agent or infection to weaken Homelander, if prep time was on his side. Heck he created a Mileena with his intelligence... which made her a menace to other timelines. Quan Chi is overrated at best. Dude got his ass handed to him by Sonya... like he really got his ass whooped. Therefore, there is no way he stands a chance against Homelander.

I definitely think that if Reiko could beat Onaga in a fight (look at the Homelander vs Reiko intros) then Reiko could easily take Homelander. I also think Ermac could defeat Homelander considering he has the powers of all the souls from the living forest as well as Sindel and her banshee scream. I think that Repile could win due to his super strength, speed, durability, camouflage, and acidic abilities. I also think Rain could win since he was powerful enough to flood an entire city and kill millions even with out any sort of power boosts, and that Asha and Quan Chi should be moved from “can maybe beat him”, to “can definitely beat him”

I love your videos but if I may debate alittle. I think homelander is vulnerable to magic. While in the boys magic doesn't exist. I do think if it was it be a gg ez against homelander. As homelander and superman have similar weaknesses. Both are weak to sound attacks. Though for superman it just hurts for homelander it's crushing. And we'll magic isn't a easy solution for superman as he just is vulnerable to magic. But if we assume that homelander has superman weaknesses but worse. Magic could probably cook homelander. So I think Ermac could win the fight easy. And definitely at full power. Quan chi has a slightly better chance I think mainly because of all the resources at his back. Quan chi would outlast homelander and then sneak in with a soul stab. Everyone else I agree on. I'm glad you said asharah is a maybe because some think no and that's lame.
