This is just the special pleading fallacy. Nothing more. [I make the claim that my God exists first and then I can go on to build my argument based on that claim] John Lennox has never given us any good evidence for any God. He just bloviates. But its no all bad, when it comes to bloviation John Lennox is truly a world leader!

I don't think any scientist would say that the universe has existed eternally. 99.999% agree that it had a beginning.

If we can define singularity as the first cause, then it's perfectly aligned theologically with our view of God. God is the uncaused cause and He was the prime mover of singularity. God initiates Singularity expansion into the Big Bang At the end of the day this is all theory. Someone's experience and reality of God far outweight any theory. Especially if that experience has caused massive life transformation, joy, fulfillment, meaning, purpose and restoration in their inter and intra personal relational dealings.
