Another argument for Bones would be that they did something similar with Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, remaking the series so that they could adapt the manga ending that they couldn't do in the 2003 series.

Gachiakuta will rejuvenate the anime space with something really unique and cool. Plus, I think Bones would be a great fit, I feel since their flagship series is gonna be over sooner than later.

I think it’s important to note that in April of this year we’re getting another Jojo Day just like when Part 6 was announced. So it’s more than likely we’ll be getting Steel Ball Run this year

Vigilantes should take about 4 cours for a complete adaptation. They could do a joint project in 2028 to celebrate 20 years for SE's anime and share resources much like Madhouse and IG did for Daiya no ace.

As much as I LOVE Soul Eater, if a remake gets in the way of Steel Ball Run's anime, then I just want it to be put off for now. SBR is my most anticipated anime rn (and hopefully its getting announced in April) and I just want it to be as good as it deserves to be.

I think Bones should do it that sort of collaborative effort would be awesome but David pro is certainly a good choice too. I can see both potentially being busy tho and I'd like them to prioritise Gachiakuta and Undead Unluck over a remake of Soul Eater as cool as it would be

for years ive been thinking like hm, i should really watch soul eater sometime as its quite iconic and ive seen like maybe two episodes over 10 years ago. well clearly i havent been in a hurry to do so, good to know i can just wait for a potential remake and watch it then :DDD

Soul Eater is a series i hold deeply in my heart. Ohkubo is an art inspiration of mine and I see myself in him A Soul Eater remake would literally print money. People STILL talk about Soul Eater to this day despite the series being a decade+ old Plus I really want to see more fanart based around the cool stuff in the manga than fanart based around a decade+ old anime lol No offense of course, but yeah

I honestly don't care if it's David Production or Studio Bones. What I damn well know is, the Soul Eater reboot adaptation BETTER be PERFECTION! No mistakes, errors, cuts, nothing! I want it to be one of the greatest adaptations ever! Soul Eater is such a well good story with amazing characters! This adaptation deserves all the focus!

Thanks for this. I'd love a Soul Eater remake, Heck, I'd even love more NOT. That said, I'd be lying if I said I didn't also want an actual ending, rather than the story concluding with the plot on hiatus. There are just so many things about that world the we have no meaningful answers too. Instead, we ended on lewd "joke".
