Wait until musk & companies completely fall apart. $6 billion is nothing compared to that time bomb of a liability.

How exactly is that gonna happen ?.

Such a tragic tale of human weakness. Do we ever learn?😮 Can only guess where the next big scandal will break.

Gold mining has always been a gamble. But people think they know how to look into the mining company. Salted gold mines are nothing new. No one asked to follow up the chain of command when the cores were drilled. At most mines those cores are handed from 1 personal signature to the next.

Who ordered the salting? It was a huge scam 🪨💰, but hardly complex in the making😮At the very least, basic QA/QC processes were not maintained.

Everyone who sold their stock before the scam was uncovered is more then likely . the miners know what their doing when a salted core shows up. Guzman was probably the second in charge. More rich people trying to get richer and if they get scammed it's a crime. But the poor people of the country that is stealing from its people.

I remember this when it all went down and was stunned then ( not so much now ). Felderhof was either a goddamn crook or a blithering idiot, and i dont think Felderhof was an idiot. I think he was absolutely guilty and liable but the Canadian Justice system sucked then and sucks now when it comes to white collar criminals

Okay, so the theory covered in this 2nd half of this episode is that one or more subordinate Philippino geologists, bitter about their poor pay, bought some alluvial gold to salt the samples. Supported by heresay no less.
@nealburns88155 ай бұрын
De Guzman himself was Filipino. It seems pretty clear that De Guzman and at least some of the Filipino geologists were part of the conspiracy. It sounds like they were able to disappear and the Filipino government isn't interested in investigating.
