I was shocked when I saw an article that Tina Turner had died that very day. I love her music. I was a child of the 80's. Tina's many songs are on my playlist. "What's Love Got To Do With It" is my favorite Tina song.

I remember being a little girl and seeing Jim Brown on TV and thinking 'he is a handsome man!'. Yes, Ray Stevenson had a wonderful 'viking-esque' persona in any role he took on! Pete Brown.....I had some 'good times' while listening to your compositions. Rick Hoyt, you are, indeed, a HUGE inspiration to us all. You're with your beloved Dad again. Tina Turner....what can I say. Thank you for all the memories you help me make during the 60s, 70s and the 80s. You were a role model for me. Tina Turner. What a Icon. She survived a rough childhood. She Survived Abuse, Became stronger. She had nothing yet she started over to become a Bigger Icon, because some saw what she was, her talent they gave her a chance to be herself. The energy she had, she was amazing to see on stage. Say what you will her faith helped her rise above all the negativity. She proved you can start over and be bigger than what you once was. Sometimes you have to leave it all behind in order to start over. She did endure so much, stroke, cancer, kidney problems. I truly believe she was at Peace. I pray she is in a better place. Sad she is gone. But I feel she lived her life. She will never be forgotten. Rejoice in Paradise Tina Turner. Love, respect and positivity always. 🕊🙏🕯🦋🌠🌻❤🌹✨. Neita,Ace and family. 💕.

Trivia: Jim Brown and Ali were good friends. JB challenged Ali to a fight in the ring. Ali excepted the challenge. Later Ali, JB and others were sitting around in someones living room talking trash about the fight, and Ali and JB get into an open handed boxing match. Ali was all on JB before he could lay one punch. JB laughed and said he knew he was out of his league and the fight was scrapped.

So sad to hear Tim Keller his book helped me and my wife... So saddened also to hear Andy.. His bassline so complementary to Johnny Marr's playing and tone..

It may not be much, but I like how you always show pictures of people at their prime. I think that's how they'd like to be remembered, and how I'd like to be remembered. It's honest work.

Hi @cmonkey63 - thank you for watching. We always try our best to include both a picture from a celebrity’s most familiar time period and also from their later life, whenever possible, to honor the full richness of their whole life.
