First of all you’re gorgeous ❤ secondly they’re lying when they say you’re “black passing” because you don’t look unambiguous you actually remind me a lot of tinashe !

@ Yes it’s such a crabs in barrel mentality as cliche as that sounds but it’s funny because I never said I didn’t look black I jus said I have an exotic look despite looking black

I remember this happened a long time ago see this is what i be talking because a lot of dark skin people love seeing roles get stolen from light skin people like Malcolm X, Thurgood Marshall, Collon Powell, Nat Turner and many more. But when roles get stolen from darker skin people by light skin actors then it's a complete uproar

I said this earlier to myself that I think when these UABW started complaining about mixed women, they didn’t expect that mixed also meant those of us who are not white passing. Because when they complain about MLS women, that’s who they mean… MLS women that look white adjacent, like Sophia Richie and Zendaya, not those of us with some variation of a brown hue and curly hair like Kat Graham. They have a very limited understanding of what mixed people look like, but instead of addressing their own biases, they are attacking us for not dealing with their bs. It’s deranged!
@HoneyyskinRed5 күн бұрын
@@fierdêtreCréole Yes they have a very limited mindset when it comes to what looks mixed they forget that’s the whole point of bein mixed you don’t always have to come out looking like the typical mixed person but like you said they instead go to attack mode like yikes

They not only darkened Zoe’s skin but gave her an Afro wig because Zoe has straight hair. She is Puerto Rican and Dominican. The DSBW community gave her hell for playing that woman yet they want to play LS and mixed women. Remember Cicely Tyson playing Coretta Scott King? That was horrendous. Janet Jackson wanted to play Lena Horne. Ms. Horne said, “Absolutely not!” 😂😂
@HoneyyskinRed5 күн бұрын
@@Mimi-ht6xr That’s so true there are darker women who play the roles of lighter women I wonder if they get upset about that

Janet Jackson doesn’t rlly look unambiguous imo even before she got work done. She looks mixed with something especially bc of her hair texture & features
