To correct you, Trident has been fairly equal with PREMA in F3 since 2019. Next year is a new car so I don't know what to expect. Another thing, Gabriel Bortoleto has only been a McLaren junior beginning of this year. How strong are his links with the team? Another thing to consider, Mattia Binotto has poor form when it comes to junior drivers. He never even gave Callum Ilott an FP1 or a test, and as you said, his qualifying data was VERY strong. He mishandled Mick Schumacher and shafted Robert Shwartzman. I think Bottas is an almost certainty to get that seat.

Hmmm - lots to consider - Audi would want a top driver for 2026 so is this just an interim step for 2025? Of course the team has to show signs of improvement

It feels like most top drivers outside of Russell are contracted for 2026 so would likely be for 25 and 26
