Everyone knew Napier was cooked unless he won every game he was supposed to plus a few upsets. Meanwhile FSU seemed like a playoff favorite with them going to 12 teams.

UF has a wrong coach problem. FSU developed a victim mentality after not getting into the playoff last season and I saw this happen for my Gators and that ended Mullen’s time at Florida. Maybe it’s just bad portal luck, but I think it’s deeper than that so we will see

UF. FSU is having a bad season after losing key players. Norvell has shown that he CAN Coach in Big Time Football. Noles had a great season last year. The Gators have done NOTHING for the last 3. But we all have to ask ourselves......Noles AND us Gators. Just how tough is it to find Players who want to play football and not just go to where the next best N.I.L. deal is?? I find myself not getting attached to any Players. I REALLY don't like the state of NCAA ball right now.

FSU is in a dying conference. Being in the SEC is huge and makes recovery much more possible for UF. Both programs are tanked and who knows. UF was actually pretty good with Mullens,. but they did the impulsive firing and now they are were they are.

If you mean in the worse situation currently, I'd say Florida until we see the next hire they make at HC. Who may have a bleaker future? It may be FSU. Mike Norvell over the last five years has shown that he can't recruit or develop QBs.

We do. UF was supposed to be bad and is bad. We were supposed to be decent/pretty good and are as bad, if not worse than Willie Taggart’s worst FSU team.

You guys got DJ and hes not that good. He wasn’t good at Clemson, why would he be good for fsu. And all the heat about dabo not taking transfers, but look at fsu. They use the heck out of portal and suck.

@@middleagedjabroniThe key is to use the portal proportionatly. Last 2 years we hit like crazy. This year we didnt hit. The problem is we havent recruited HS well enough. If we had receuited better out of HS we wouldn't be in yhis position. Dabo not using the portal is hurting him immensely. Evrryone uses the portal. Literally everyone. All the big time schools bring in Elite players to supplement the roster. Thats what Dabo needs to do, but he refuses

That was the single worst way you could try to implement the 2QB system. That was a, hey everyone is yelling at me to do this so I'll just do it (but wrong).

No. This is backwards. Norvell has proven he CAN win and do so in big games. They're having a bad season so far yes, but there's still enough time to salvage the season and they'll be fine going forward. Billy hasn't shown the ability to coach up a highly talented team in 3 straight seasons and it's going to be another mess to clean up for the next hire (which is still largely up in the air).

Hey guys it’s actually Auburn’s fault that FSU is so bad….if they hadn’t let Bama win on the last play, UGA and FSU would have likely both made the playoffs, and the culture at FSU wouldn’t have turned into the victim culture. Congratulations Auburn!

I wanna see Billy succeed because we're from the same place. But it's been a mess since he got to Florida. A lot of it is on boosters and cancelling that one kid, but these last 3 games have looked nightmarish from a coaching standpoint.

FSU , because FLORIDA has There Future QB and used the Portal & HS recruiting well they just need a Coach who can Game Plan , FSU just has a bunch of 1 year Rentals, Failed HS recruiting is showing up & Norvell buy out is 60mil, while Billy’s is 26 mill

Both. FSU has suffered a cataclysmic collapse. Honestly, I think they may finish 0-12 with a 2OT loss to Charleston Southern. Florida didn't have expectations quite as high. Their program has scuffled for a while now, maybe they should hire Urban Meyer.

FSU is in a worse situation since they can't make a head coach change. If UF makes a good hire, they'll be back in 3 years

FSU and that contract is the winner. Norvell cant recruit. They have relied on the portal too much and have guys that dont care about the university. they have been 3 string in recruiting rankings since he came in 2019.

FSU has a bleak future. The HC ( with a 10M/yr) can’t recruit, and going into year five it’s evident he can’t develop. It’s a total rebuild, might as well be year one under Norvell

@@SurferRC have you watched FSU this season? They need a hell of a lot more than "just a qb". How about an entire o line to start? Receivers that can catch? A d line that can defend the run up the middle?
