Who is Andrew Henderson of Nomad Capitalist?
This question has been asked so many times, so here's some background story on how Nomad Capitalist came to be.
Andrew has been running Nomad Capitalist first as a blog, now as a service that helps people get second passports and become global citizens for 6 years.
Reducing taxes, acquiring multiple second citizenships, owning homes around the world is what Andrew excels at and what makes him tick. But what is the motivation behind all this success?
In this video, Andrew shares where he comes from, his life journey to where he is now and what was it that inspired him to go so far and achieve so much.
Even from the early childhood, he knew what he wanted to do in life, but "the how" was lacking, so after high school, he enrolled into college, following the construct everybody else had.
Very quickly though Andrew liberated himself from the concept of "what should be done" only to completely dedicate himself to what he actually wants to do with his life.
Not long after, success followed and at the age of 22, and he was already doing very well for himself, so much so, that he started investing in other businesses.
Going offshore and living overseas was something Andrew wanted to do, only now he paired it with his goal to reduce money on tax.
There were some lessons to be learned the hard way, but those are usually the most valuable ones and Andrew turned his life and his business savvy to work.
At the very foundation of Nomad Capitalist, flag theory, learning how to obtain second citizenships and dramatically reduce taxes were the magic words - Go where you're treated best.
To find out more about who Andrew Henderson is and what was the road that has taken him here, keep watching the video.

ABOUT NOMAD CAPITALIST
Andrew Henderson travels to nearly 30 countries every year to stay up to date on the latest legal strategies for entrepreneurs and investors to pay less tax, grow their money faster, and build their personal freedom.
Andrew started Nomad Capitalist to help people like you follow his five magic words: "go where you're treated best". He has personally started foreign companies, opened offshore bank accounts, and obtained multiple second passports.
He also learned the hard way that perpetual information seeking is often the biggest barrier to getting the results you want. Many entrepreneurs spend months and even years constantly researching how to pay less in tax or live overseas, but are afraid to make the jump.
As a result, they get stuck and keep paying a fortune in taxes and never get the lifestyle they deserve.
Nomad Capitalist's KZbin channel is based on Andrew's vision that focusing on the end result, rather than the latest shiny object, is the best way to actually obtain the benefits of the Nomad Capitalist lifestyle.

I love the book, I'm currently reading it and it speaks to my heart, so much. My favourite qoute (from the Chinese grandfather): "Always have a second set of papers and some gold coins in a fast junk in the harbor." Loooved that one.

Fascinating perspective. Nothing is better than first hand knowledge. Having traveled extensively for many years, I know how challenging it can be in a strange place with unfamiliar circumstances. It took a lot of courage and determination to create your lifestyle and business from the ground up. Anyone can do anything with access to unlimited resources. It takes a creative mind and entrepreneureal talent to create it on a budget and then grow it into a serious business that is marketable to folks other than the mega rich. You have apparently done that mainly on willpower and talent.

. Andrew thank you so much, we have a lot in common. I will be getting your book. Congratulations, you are reaching a lot of mile markers in a person's life . Pretty much you have done what I'd say 98% of the people want to do is have a sense of freedom a sense of accomplishment a sense of self-worth and the dignity of a Frank Sinatra song, you did it your way. I hope in the near future will be face-to-face speaking about your services for higher. Don't change.

Any experience or opinions on Ecuador? My girlfriend was born and has family there so I have a free place to stay whenever. We've been talking about visiting and possibly setting up a business/buying property there. I need her to coach me on some Spanish lessons :P

What about people born in Germany who doesn't feel German or people born in France who doesn't feel French? Maybe they see the USA/Canada as the ultimate place to move to. Mixed feelings about your mission at times.

You can tell all these people just inherited. Where did the starting capital come from? A loan? Any small loan has to be guaranteed and only your parent could do that. Nobody just "goes and starts a business", it's all parents money.

My brother-in-law saved money while working at a hotel. Over time, he bought two taxis, quit his job, and drove one of the taxis. After a few more years, he opened his own car rental company. He is now a millionaire, and his parents were poor. His father passed a long time ago, and his mother is in a top nursing home, and he visits her all the time.

I didn't... I started making $27k/yr military in the U.S. and eating .17 cent ramen, saving 80%, not perfect, wasted a few bucks on some stuff, but kept true to always putting a way at least 2/3 of paycheck most of the time; and next thing you know, a few years later, you have a respectable balance in your account; and you can maybe think of doing alternative moves...
