Who is Carlos Santos? Herring Shoes "Brienz"

I've owned a number of Carlos Santos shoes and boots over the years. They are fantastic value but you have to like the dressier "Mediterranean" lasts they use. Despite appearances their lasts can actually be quite wide. I'm down to 2 pair of boots now because I no longer need dressier footwear and find myself preferring more rugged, casual and rounded toe footwear. One of my boots is actually very rugged with a commando sole, shearling lining and kudu leather upper but is still on a relatively tapered, elegant last.

Have a pair of Carlos Santos dress boots that have held up incredibly well. Was a server and put many many miles on them and they still look immaculate. Have been extremely impressed.

@@alphaflix it’s a GMT2c, the original black bezel now discontinued, bought it in ‘09 still going strong.. I think I did a review many many years ago, been a long time since I have done a watch review!
