I always thought it would be cool to have a Robin with meta-human abilities to differentiate between the other Robins and Bat-Family. It’s plausible since Batman is associated with meta-human Justice League members. This is an awesome character to profile Sage and great video.

My favorite new DC character. This is the way you do it, create a new character of color in his own right. Though he may be rocking the bat symbol, he is every bit his own character. Love the signal.

Oh there are quite a few, but yes army style flashes and green lanterns (Jessica Cruz in justice league fatal five was ridiculously OP lol, and that John Stewart Green Lantern movie was underrated) are better than mantle switching to kill whitey lol. Shame Steel both John/Natasha Irons is underused, though it was nice to see Cyborg be the main character of Justice League Snyder Cut. Batman incorporated was also a fun concept for every continent in a lot of countries. Does help to guide if someone doesn't want to desperately assert representation. I know new sage promoted blacktooth battalion some time back which was fun and arrived on time, so I'm enjoying my digital copy.

@@MrVariant 100% agree. That's just been the problem with media lately. I'm all for representation. Hell, that's my jam, but I can't stand it when they race swap or give the characters racial undertones thinking "that's what you like right?" NO! originality is what's needed. I love batman for being batman, the same way I love Black lightning for being him. You don't need 007 to be black, just make up a new character that's black in the spy genre and call him something else.

@@SparksBY1992 it's usually expensive media once you need actors and costume designers/animators so they just do race lifts on something formulaic that'll make money. Lol I think of Tyler Perry and disney/nickelodeon sitcoms in that manner. Then of course crunchyroll, marvel (phasing out older actors and mocking CGI effects or not giving ScarJo her black widow streaming money until the courts made it) and Tyler Perry are prone not to pay their workers, so you're less likely to get quality stories and such. Thanks for listening. I dunno if milestone will have any animations though I feel a lot can be exposition and buck wild was a lame power man brain damaged parody, which I doubt will be brought back. Didn't expect hypno hustler talks but you never know.

My only issue with him is that he needs his own symbol, ditch of the Bat emblem on the chest, visor, and the ear points. Maybe a shining eye. Dude got serious potential to work in most any adventure.

He is a definite counterpart of Marvel's Miles Morales without being a lame copycat. It's like a composition of multiple heroes into one. And with that said, his backstory was actually unique with the motivations of making him a better hero. Hope to hear more about him soon

This is probably one of the reason why I like DC, like Marvel they have superheroes I never seen before, so far I heard of Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Kate Kane (Batwoman) Red hood, and Terry Mcginnis, the Batman of the future, but never heard of Duke Thomas aka The Signal until now, somehow I'm starting to like him.

I think if a new version of (BATMAN BEYOND) cartoon show series got made someday, it should later introduce (The Signal) as new Batman’s sidekick, and I think it should happen in Second Season of the series. Now I imagine in the 2nd. Season of the series, Terry McGinnis’s is no longer a teenager he is now age:20, and I imagine that when he discovers teen boy (Duke Thomas Brown) he is trying to protect him, while trying to deal with criminals. To add I should mention that (Duke Thomas Brown) he will later be known as (The Signal) the MetaHuman hero. I also imagine when DUKE first meets new Batman, he is 13years old, he is struggling to get bye, his lives with his mother, and stepfather. In addition I imagine that he has to deal with bullies, trying to get good grades, trying to avoid certain areas that have gangs, and trying to get home without getting lost. Plus to add I imagine unbeknownst to (Duke T. Brown) his mother has a secret past, that involves his biological father, and that she changed her last-name before meeting a new guy she feel in love with.

This guy seems really cool! And he has a lot of potential for growth too! (Keep in mind I don't really say that lightly when it comes to superheroes) it's just too bad that he is so now heavily associated with the bat signal right on his face and chest because he could have been a superhero who stands on his own two feet with such a cool backstory. It just saddens me when Riders metaphorically pull out in the last minute and Associate a new character with an already established popular one. Because they don't have the confidence this character can stand on its own two feet

@@NewSage they don't have to have a falling out with Batman or anything in his own comics! He can still spawn off originally from a Batman comic book. I remember back in the day when I went to comic book stores as a teenager. There were some people who liked Catwoman but didn't like Batman. A big factor in that is that when you read a Catwoman comic book now and days, sometimes you don't even have a mention of Batman in it or even see any of his Affiliated Insignia or gadgets. Sometimes you're just reading a column book filled with people who have powers. Catwoman started off from Batman and branched off into her own comic book series where she clearly does not rely on Batman in every way. This is a prime example of someone who can easily do that exact same thing. Just change up the design just a little bit on his chest so if you look very closely you can see a Batman signal and make his mask 100% different

My personal favorite portrayal of him came from "The Last Knight" one shot. I'll be honest in saying I never found him very interesting but I think that stems from him not being included in many books since Dark Knights Metal. I really liked his dynamic with the Bat family.
